Harvey has kept us updated, you and Georgia have been and will continue to be in our prayers. Rho and I hope n pray you get well soon. We haven't been able to make it up your way for over a year now, I don't even remember last time, thinking it was the time we ate lunch at that diner, think it was The Clock or something like that. Anyhow... hopeful we get to see y'all in a couple months. You take care... please give Georgia our best.

Hey ya John
I've been running Pirelli P Zero Nero GT Summer tires, now this last set I went with Lexani LX Twenty because could get a whole set for about the price of one Pirelli rear 305/22. Lexani's are ok, but I'll be ponying up and going back to Pirelli. They handle sooooo good! I could really tell the difference in the sidewall give, First time I hit a twisty spirited with Lexani, wife looked over at me and said what happened... that didn't feel right. Definitely more lean with Lexani, Pirellis prolly stiffer sidewall due to being run flats. The Pirelli's handle pretty good on wet pavement. Only time I hydroplaned, was in a hard rain coming down the hill into Maggie from Cherokee. Definitely a pucker moment. Been in rain more than I care too and they have performed very well! EJ led us thru a monsoon in Arkansas, dangerdarrell prolly remembers.

Dang we were close brother, we were down at McCloud Mtn over the weekend. DER slide over and ride Devil's Triangle. Best to ride it counter clockwise, better pavement. Brushy Mtn State Pen worth a stop, restaurant is supposed to be good. Ginger's on 116 just north of TN-330 has t-shirts and stickers. Nice ride, you'll like it!

studiopeg like DER said with air ride you need to shim the sway bar at the mounts. Without it sway bar will rub and eventually rub a hole in your air bag/s. My plate is 1/2" thick, should be at least 1/4", doesn't take much.
I'd send ya a pic but for whatever reason my new phone won't send it to my computer. I'll send it to DER maybe he can post it.

Thank y'all so much for the birthday wishes!
Harvey has the dance video Gerald.
Boomer not since Bristol last year and we stayed dry, however on the way down did get lit up by Virginia State Trooper EJ and Harvey are bad influences.
Had another Virginia Trooper looking for a group of Spyders after following/trying to keep up with FunCycle on the "Back of the Dragon" Harvey living up to his handle, told him "you just missed them"... they went that away a few minutes ago".
Thanks again y'all! Be safe!

Pleasure meeting you and your family Nick. We got such a kick out of your beautiful little girl, she's a real sweetheart. We knew the ride would set the hook. Hope you find what you want. The folks on here are a GREAT bunch, they'll provide you with a wealth of information, they're also very good at helping you spend your $$$
Godspeed!
Thank y'all for the kind words, checks in the mail.

I set mine on city mode last year at the end of riding season, I forget I have it. I've done some in sport and sport+ last year, the road better be smooth and you have to do things a little different or like Gerald said, you'll get yourself in trouble real quick. I think sport/sport+ would be good on the highway and roads with sweepers. Gonna have to remember to play around with it next time I'm out. I'm with ya EJ... FunCycle can drive the wheels of these Slings, he's very skilled, it would be wise to heed his advice.

I just put the cap on the drivers seat.
If I have a pain in my butt when I try to leave I know why!
Same here.

So very sad to hear the news of Rob's passing, many, many heavy hearts today. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Luann, the family, and his countless friends, he will be sorely missed.
A year or so ago Rob sent Rho a link to his 2008 South Dakota You Tube video. Wasn't on the trip, we didn't even know Rob back then. As I sat watched it this morning, thought maybe it would be nice to share.
