Besides having the best sounding exhaust out there. IMHO I never had the problem with the heat after I got rid of the Cat.
What exhaust are you running?

The only way to bypass this 2nd Ca
CAT is to cut open the muffler, drill bypass holes then weld it all make together. I have both the delete pipe and a modified stock muffler and the 1320 header. I'm happy enough to not need anything else.
Well I'm out of luck there. I don't have the tools or want to spend the money on that.
I'll just have to put it on there and hope it works.
What are you doing with the 1320?
If my new setup works as planned, I'll probably sell it.
Yep, that will quiet it down and bring it back to a more mellow tone....
But, a pot belly stove glowing red in the windstream before you is not gonna be cooler...
Just my 2 cents...
And now I am mod money short.
I'm hoping that by removing the cat a lot of the heat will be lessened.
Adding the heat shields should help like the newer models have.
I'm going from an exhaust back to the factory muffler with a cat delete pipe.
Trying to quiet it back down and keep the heat down.
Already have a manifold shield and got a factory muffler heat shield.
I just picked one up for S140 shipped.
I have a 1320 exhaust and did it more for the heat than performance. It noticeably does both.
I have decided that I want to go more the stereo route and want to quiet it down but keep the heat down.
I already have the manifold cover and picked up a factory heat shield.
I actually like the way the chrome looks.
I'm going to keep it that way.
Just trying to help out with what I figured out.
The mechanic engineering nerd in me couldn't leave this alone.
I had to figure out what was the scoop on these nutz.
The lug type the SS comes with is called "bulge".
Most of the ones that everyone has found, including myself, are "tuner".
So I'm changing them out now.
Glad I found this post. I scored some SLR wheels and figured it was the perfect time to upgrade the lugs.
Ordered the red NRG lugs for a little flair and they were peeling when I receive them so I send them back.
I went to the local auto parts store and got some chrome ones. After taking the original ones off and comparing them to the chrome ones I had the same concerns that are going on here.
I went ahead and put them on anyway. They seem to be doing fine but I just wanted to double-check.
Have y'all been having any trouble with the aftermarket ones? Everything I've found have the smaller shoulder.
That's exactly what I'm looking for.
I just upgraded mine. Ordered off EBay for $15 and it’s super loud. I got the factory connector for like $8 and made my own harness.
Sent from my iPad using Polaris Slingshot Infoslingshotinfo.com/wcf/index.php?attachment/70290/
Where did you get the connector from?
Has anyone upgraded their horn?
If you have, what did you use?
Is there somewhere to get a plug that mates to the factory plug?
I have a double bubble still in the box If anyone wants to pay shipping, or I will probably take it to Maggie Valley. Never installed never been out of the box. I just looked at the instructions to see how they mounted.
Just wanted to give @FunCycle a big thanks for hooking me up with the Double Bubble windshields
I really dig the look. Makes me feel like I'm more on my bikes
I am using the Bassani Exhaust love it
Do you have the original or the side exit?
i'm picking up what you throwing down now lol
you lost me with all those links, please splain it to me
Has anyone seen or used the Bassani Side Exhaust?
They also have a cat delete pipe now.
I like that it hangs on the original hardware.
I got lucky with it being a 2015.
As far as adding leds, I just don't trust any kind of glue/tape.
That's why I said I might do the demon eyes and that would be about it.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the way the leds look.
Before I purchased my SS I knew this would be a mod and ordered the lights off a polaris vendor on Fleabay. Afterwards ordered the pods, so I'm always interested in those who didn't go the TricLed way. There's quite a few directions I wanted to take with the pods, the headlights and halos. Definitely a good top 3 mods to perform. Windshield, Canadian lights are the top two non horsepower performance mods IMHO
Not sure what you mean by pods.
I have a 2015 so all I needed was the lights.
I might do the demon eyes since they are mounted in the lights.
I don't like to use anything that glued on.
Once it starts to get unglued they are gone.
@0DDJ0B may I ask if you purchased the Canadian headlight pods and how did you choose to run them? I noticed on the instructions there were two different choices.
I purchased them from TricLed.
I'm running them the way they come wired.
