Konner getting his 'super charged' or 'boosted'?
Right now he is going to have to get by with the DDM stickers I put on it! I’m thinking about rigging it up with drill battieries.
Display MoreGot this in the mail today from Saint @Painter. Had to put it right in. Color is a dead match.
Thank you, Jim. It's beautiful.
I notice in the first photo Jared, you tried to figure out just where that plate was supposed to be mounted. I sure am glad Heather was smart enough to get to the rear of the sling before you started bending and drilling to mount it to the front! Way to go Heather, good job.
@MWSlingshot
So you are saying that @sideseatdriver had to show @KayTwo where and how to mount it. I guess we shouldn't ask if it was with the lights on or off.
And it ended up being mounted in on the rear.

Har-de-har-HAR. You two jokers are hilarious. I was just trying to show how well Jim's color match went with my base color, and get it in the sun to show the right tinting. I know you old guys' eyes aren't working all that well, so I wanted to make sure you could see it properly.

So you are saying the lights were on and you still needed help.
Us old guys don't need ass sistance to get the job done. With age comes experience.

No your experience was evident and you accomplished your goal.....of sitting in front of the fan every chance you had.
I hope he at least brought you a diet Dr Pepper or two!

Like @Bill Martin says work smarter not harder
In person it looks great, hopefully you remembered to pick up your wheels.
@DuaneIndy thank you so much. I did get the wheels.
@Painter what an awesome display of customer service and pride in workmanship. I have had the itch to paint only the black panels on my SS but know that I'd probably drive to you based on the fact that you're building friendships and not a "customer base or resume" for the forum. @'goose man' your respect for Painter and what he does is shown here and my hat is off to you as well dear sir. The two of you have demonstrated what the "spirit" of this forum is truly about. Thank you.

Very kind words my friend. Thank you. For me- I want no customer base and my resume’ was formed years ago. I have never seen anything close to the camaraderie, giving, friendships created and the overwhelming selflessness exhibited by any group... anywhere ..that we have cultivated here!
99.9% of all of us here treat others as we would like to be treated, work together on common goals, help others in need and expect nothing in return! If only our examples were the norm of society... oh, if only!
I am proud .... very proud to be a part of this awesome community and contribute as I can. @gooseman is one of the best examples of what this community is and I’m lucky to know him. (Even though he lives in frozen Canada!) But he is one of many here.
The list of amazing members is far too long to post here but go to the list of Forum Members, print it out, throw a dart and ask that member for some advise and there is a very good chance you will get it and more!
Dear God..... I love this place and this place IS everyone here!
