I was wondering if I could get a little help and input from you gals and guys. I have been kicking it around to purchase a 2019 model last of the GM motors. I have contacted one dealership near me, have a few more to go, they gave me a price of $19,000. So when you all are out and about visiting your dealerships could you see what they are selling there 2019 models for. Probably want ever happen but $17,500 is what I am striving for. But I think $18,000 is not to bad of a price. Thanks in advance. Also curious to see price differences across the country.

If you're ready to pull the trigger, consider having a cashiers check made out to the dealer for your out-the-door price and take it in to them. I agree that those are both good prices and if they don't have anyone else sniffin' the bait maybe they'll take it. I don't know what other dealers are doing but you got nothing to lose.

Dealers in the Chicago Land area can't keep a Slingshot in stock --- new or used they are selling them as fast as they can get them in. Some used ones around at fair prices.
-
What model sling are you looking at?
Assume that this is a new machine?
-
Check cycletrader.com and input whatever specifics (new or used) and then adjust your mileage. Where I purchased my 2019, they have one for $16,999.
-
Craigslist.....low mileage used ones.....

Trooper you can buy 2015 and 2016 with low miles (5,000 miles or less) and maybe up to $10,000 worth of mods for $13,000 to $15,000

Be careful of the OTD price. The first time I went SS shopping a "alleged" $16,999 price swell up to $25k with taxes and fees. After a walkout and google review (it was hilarious and damning) I ended up with $21k OTD for my 2019 S model.

As in which model? There are like 3 or 4 trim levels reaching up to like $35,000 before discounts. Be sure as to which one you maybe getting.

Mancuso also treats the SS community very well, I've not heard bad things from them.

I have purchased a couple of cars, motorcycles and one camper that way.
I fill out a check with the price I want to pay, a date a couple of days from the present day, and leave the signature blank. I staple it to a piece of paper with the item I want, including their number and VIN number if possible, and my name and phone number.
Then, I go home and wait. That check is like candy money to a kid!! It just sits there on the desk, burning a hole in their "pocket".
