BTW, that's clutch fluid. And it needs to be changed. Get your wife's turkey baster and suck it all out. Then refill with DOT 4 brake fluid.
Already did that several times.

Thanksgiving conversation.... "Mom, the turkey tastes a little like Dad's slingshot smells... Whats up with that??"
Not a mod but did get a chuckle when I checked the brake fluid and saw the 5 recall stickers on the frame.
Yep, that's not a coffee warmer...

I never said anything about putting it back in the kitchen drawer . . . .

Just use the shop paper towels and then you will not have that problem.
Bought an AAwireless android dongle to work with my Boss head unit so I could use Android auto wirelessly. Unfortunately it does not work. Best thing is, I bought from Amazon and they send me a qr return code. Just have to take it to a UPS store and UPS packs it and label it and ship it free. Can't beat that!

I hate having to return things, but when I do I love how easy Amazon makes it.
Amazon is one of the few companies out there IMO that really believes in providing customer service. That business model made Bezos the richest man in the world prior to Musk. Other companies should take heed — opposed to getting placed in the endless loop of a computer answering machine never getting to a human 🤬🤬
I made more progress with Barbies Wheelchair carrier, still a few things to take care off. "Like the rear facing lights" brake blinkers etc. Also, I still have to remove the protective film. I'll post a video after it is completed. Also, the last " bottom picture" shows the early design stage>
The Door has still to be installed .
The wheelchair carrier was too close to the ground when going over bumps, so I designed a new drawbar and had it welded.
Thanks to the settlement check from an accident a couple of years ago I joined the "own it outright" club. It's going to be my favorite upgrade; no payments.
Those are some nice welds. I be proud to show them off.

Yep, did the same thing myself a couple months ago. Both the SS and the truck.
Of course, first thing I did was go back out and buy a motorhome now . . . .
Supposed to rain tonight and tomorrow so I decided to bite the bullet and start the new head unit install. I installed the Boss head unit last winter but wanted to see if this ATOTO unit had higher daytime visibility. Removing all body parts was super simple since I did it before. Took about 1/2 hour. Learning from my last experience I made sure the new head unit fit to my liking. It fit perfectly after a few adjustments. Now onto the wiring. I got the unit temporarily wired. I always do this before making final connections. Got the unit to power up. That's enough for today. Try to finish it up tomorrow but think the camera may be an issue. I'll let you all know how it goes.

While you have the dash off, make yourself a insulation plate between the engine and back of the stereo to keep the heat off it. There are templates here somewhere, but I just used some 1" insulating foam board I had extra and taped in it with muffler/heat tape.
Also put some sort of barrier above the back of the head unit to prevent water from coming in from above. There are a couple holes in the dash that allow water in that can get into the stereo back. I just used a little piece of plexiglass I had laying around and duct taped it in.
No problems for 3 yrs so far.
BTW, this is part of the old stereo too. It can be taken out and replaced with that insulating foam I suggest above.
Separate question - I like how much room there is behind this stereo. Is it waterproof?
Leaving old unit in just in case I or the next owner wants to go back to original.
Continued working on installing the new head unit. Got all wiring done and tested. Hopefully button it up tomorrow. Just have to run usb cable under sling for wired android auto.

Well sir, you have a lot of off season left. What's next?
