With the heat coming on thinking of putting some beaded seat mats on. I have stock 2016 seats. Anyone have suggestions on fit, function and durability?

Can’t speak to the beads you posted. But, the el cheapo ones we bought for Nuc’em work very well on the PRPs. Reminds me, need to dig them out of storage.

This topic has been brought up several times over the years and there is an apparent problem with installing this item on the 2015/2016 seats because of that center groove causing excessive wear, eventually cutting the lines the beads are strung on.

I had a similar style on my original seats for the first year and they worked good. Got rid of swamp ass. Rather comfy too, no complaints about them. They did wear the seat some and when removed you could tell they were on the seat. The colour was worn from the plastic some where the beads made contact
Got rid of swamp ass.
glad to have you back sirlove it
I've considered one of these seat cushions with a fan that forces air behind and underneath. Haven't tried one yet, but I may still do so before summer.
MY BAD! should have done a search first as wjfyfe mentioned this has been a thread prior. In my defense I was in bed searching Amazon and Ebay prior to lights out.
Thanks for all the info though - will be checking this out later today. Between the "baking your berries" and the
"swamp ass" ( thank you gooseman ) trying to head tis off at the pass this year!
Doc&Ruby I have looked at them and may just consider that as well - all are kinda cheep so may try them both.
Appreciated!
This is a web type structure. Let’s air flow behind your back. I use it all summer. I actually bought it for riding my recumbent trike.
You can instantly feel the air circulating behind your back.

Thats a new thing I have not seen! Thanks! I was looking at the fan/vented seats last night as I have been reading some people have had the beads rub on the seats and create marks and what not. Don't want that!
Question ; What is the fabric like on these pads? Do you think it will scratch the stock seats? Just wondering if the material is "scratchy" or abrasive and create the same issue as the beads might. Thoughts?

These look brilliant! I'm all in favor of a passive ventilation system rather than adding more electronics. Gotta measure my seats and see what I need now!
I sit on part of it and lean on part. This one is 85x35 cm

This is plastic....been using it for 10,000 miles on stock seats.....it’s water proof..
I see on their "transport" section on page 2 that they have a 95x 40 that might be a really good fit judging by the picture of yours Transport
If you want to cover the entire seat and back I’d go for this.....don’t forget I bought this before I had a SS.
I paid $99 .....
If you buy from here there will be shipping....from UK.

Thank you! So no rub marks or ware on the seats?
