Schwinn Stingray circa 1970. Oops, I have my extended forks, butterfly handlebar and sissy bar on there. My bad - it's the only pic I have.
Did you notice the don't F with me look on my face? Yup, thought ya did. Church is over Bitches!
Bug doesn't look the same anymore. This was the day I brought it home.
Mods allow your wallet to fit in pocket better too.

I was 10!!! When I was 16 I was a full inch taller! And had hair on my.......upper lip. And a van.
well my slingshot still looks pretty much the same as when I got it - I haven't done many cosmetic mods, but I can post a throw back pic - me and my 1964 356C in 1972

2" lift on the backend?
No but it was fully equipped with a camper style kitchen and platform bed and enough batteries to run the space shuttle. I actually lived in it for about 6 months.

Mitch, I remember seeing your bumper sticker on that van

The van was actually mine and my brother's - a 1970 Ford Econoline F100 panel van. In her wisdom, my mom bought it for the two of us when my brother got his license and I was a year away from mine so we could haul our band equipment (he was the bass player and me on drums). Together we painted it candy apple red, got airbrushed murals, on the side of course, that were a silhouette, black orange red scene of coastal mountains to the best of my recollection. We put in a cedar strip and mirrored ceiling, wall paneling, burnt red shag carpeting on the floor and dash, a kick-ass stereo and a sunroof. By the time I got my license, he was so used to driving it that I got no wheel time and we sold it for an $1,100 profit. By then I managed to get myself kicked out of high school in that van. Ahhh, the memories! I could probably find a picture of it in my archives - a couple of cardboard boxes with a bunch of printed photos in them. Tough to do a filtered search on that - it's usually a 2 day search through memory lane.
