At the Stockport Mill Inn, next to the Locke on the Dam. The Inn is in the background, and is a very cool place! @ThomaSS and Rho were there with us. We talked of setting up a run next summer for anyone that wanted to come down. Roads are nice and twisty, scenic, and the food in the area is very good.

@BryanL and I, along with 4 non-forum members, all with our spouses,so 12 strong, made a ride up the mighty Columbia River from Vancouver, WA to Hood River, OR and back. One dropped out early for an engagement but here are 5 of us at Bonneville Dam on the way back:
I love that drive.

Great time brother!... was closing our Corbin bags in my sleep last night.
The key to keeping mine closed was to place my hand at the bottom of the door frame and lift as I closed it with my forearm - once I started closing them that way they never opened up on the road unexpectedly

Yeah you showed me that at Maggie @Ross. I think our problem is/was the striker wasn’t going in far enough to totally engage the latch. I put thick plastic washer on each side of latch to bring it out farther, that seems to have taken care of the problem… we’ll see.
I don't know... I hear @Goats_Hogs swears by those Corbin bags...
Or was it swears at them...

I did that too. They still popped open although a little less often. But all it took was a light shower to get the inside of the bag wet then. @MiM has the best idea, just silicone them shut or use them to make a tail piece that looks finished in the back. Even then, mine rattled like a late '70's Ford interior....
I can honestly say they were like a boat. Happiest days of my Corbin Bag ownership were the day I got them, and the day I got rid of them.

I think threaded rivets could be the answer, also should help with leaking. There's a good place for one on tail end of bags, not so much on front end. Not ready to give up on 'em just yet. @Goats_Hogs can fix anything, I'm sure he can help me figure this out.
