Yep I would!

My son is 3 and I pick him up from daycare often in it. No car seat, but I do take his bike helmet and sun glasses. Also his day care is less then half a mile away and all back streets no main roads.

Personal opinions aside in FL it would be illegal ..... your passenger must be able to meet certain criteria since it is registered and tagged as a motorcycle. If they are still of an age or size to require a car seat or booster then they would not be able to ride.

I'm pretty sure that is the same for almost if not all states.

I forget that some places don't have the autocycle class.... in MN/WI as long as he has a seat or booster, glasses and helmet then you are good.

New Hampshire is auto cycle so wonder if I'm ok ?

As soon as he wasn't a wet noodle I had him in the razor and sling

This was after family reunion in Kentucky this past Saturday. She is 5, and rather small for her age. She is also fearless, rides full sized quads, and jet skis (with her dad on back) wide open....
-
Just look at her smile @Goats_Hogs I dig it.
My 6 year old niece begged her mom to allow me to take her for a ride. She went "Weeee" the whole time with her hands in the air like we were on a roller coaster.
If my youngest was still in a booster seat, I'd take her.

Have you ever seen a baby seat requirement for a motorcycle? Took my son for a 9 day ride around Flordia when he was 5 years old ( of a small size ) on the Goldwing. My grand daughter is 6 years of age now and has been riding in the SS since Feb. 2015 with no baby seat. Her favorite words are faster Paw.

I agree with a lot of you all on here, it is great to take your kids for a ride and even the neighbor hood kids. but as my profession i can not do this, as much as i would love to. Arkansas statue says the rider has to be 8 years old to start riding . i am sure if the local people son me riding my son around they would call a complaint in. i can wait till he is old enough to ride with me. just enjoy the fun while you have them.

FL has updated their MC laws since 2012 .. passengers must be able to place and maintain their feet firmly on the passenger foot-pegs or floorboards in normal riding position. So for the SLingshot (and this has been officially clarified for me) a passenger must be able to put their feet firmly on the floor in front of the passenger seat when properly seat belted in .. and of course be wearing an approved helmet if under 21 as well as everyone requiring eye protection (the windshield does not count) ....I have no idea how or even if states with Autocycle designations handle it ... personally I don't have a problem with it ... hence my having the FL law officially clarified ....

Most child restraint seat would not fit correctly in the sling seat. I know it may look it, but it will not work. Therefore the seat would be installed wrong. Plus, think about having a helmet on your kid, you stop fast or are in a crash. A child's neck is not strong enough for the force in a crash with a helmet. I'm not talking about 13, 14, or 15 old. I'm talking young kids.

Yeah... This is why my girls, 4 and 2, have just shared the passenger seat to go up the driveway, into the garage...
