We're ready to go. I do need to change the oil in the sling. I am sure this trip will be one of those lasting memories. Lots of miles to be driven in the Sling. Can't wait to meet all of y'all.

Somehow I missed this - sort of glad I did!

Have fun y'all...
5 more hours of actual work! Then I'm off till June 5th. Maybe that won't jinx me.
I just need to bolt the new front speaker pods in and wipe the SS down and it will be ready. I have a huge container of shirts ready to load and I have my toolbox ready to toss in the truck. I also have my gopro and garmin camera gear packed and ready to go......
I just need to pack me some clothes which is pretty easy considering its 10 slingshotinfo.com shirts and some shorts.
I want to be ready to leave at midnight or 1am Tuesday. I hate traffic.....
Not sure which thread to post this under....there are about 5 Maggie Valley threads now.
In Jacksonville with Sticker Dick. Having breakfast, then off to Memphis to meet with Mark Brown.... ( @gpcustoms ) at St. Judes for the check presentation from the fund raiser he put on.

Kenny, why are you not tying the rear down by the swing arm like you did last time? Do you think going through the wheel is stronger, or what? Just wondering
I tried the swingarm when I was on my way to Panama City. Didn't like the way the strap rubbed under the belt.

Leaving in the morning, heading from Fort Myers back to IL, Unload on Sunday, Load sling on Sunday night and head off Monday morning to meet the Painter Posse in Louisville KY arriving MV Monday night.
Thunderstorms again today
Looks like finishing up the clear coat on the last few parts is out until I return.
Truck is packed with tools / spare tires and stuff...
Need to wash it - if it ever stops raining, clean the trailer and sling hook everything together and point it west
Just go thru the back wheel. I find that it works best when I use my wifes good bath towels as protection...

If you want to save your marriage go to Walmart and buy (2) seat belt pads - put them on the strap - they work great!
You don't want to piss off Allison and end up with a couch that matches those chairs - "Do You"?

I want to wish everyone safe travels as we get ready to attend SSITS 2017. I wish you fair weather, and a beautiful ride to Maggie Valley. See everyone Tuesday at the Fairgrounds. Looks like some good weather for us in Maggie Valley.
One of our customers (I still have to make a living) requested that I visit them, and by chance it is the time and route where we travel back. Hey it will pay for the gas and 2 or 3 hotel night costs. I love when things work out, more mod or beer money.
