It's metal @philip_mustang. It is very easy install and does make a big difference. I am happy I bought one. Seems like a high price, but worth it in the end.

@philip_mustang It does come very much in handy especially for people who have the aftermarket steering wheels, it is actually billet aluminum and not plastic! Please let us know if you ever have any questions Philip! Enjoy watching your build thread!

Welcome from another Yellow Sling. I like your color choice.

@UK_Paul Could you also let me know what kind of hub adapter you are using? tnx
Hi Philip.
Sorry for not posting the pictures yet, but I'm having difficulty uploading the pictures from my handy (cell, mobile or whatever). I will transfer them to my PC and post later.Regards your coment above:
I used the NRG hub adapter, from the guys at SlingMods.
- Polaris Slingshot Aftermarket Steering Wheel Short Hub Adapter by NRG -
It works great for me and it came with an additional spacer ring that I used on the front of my steering wheel (not the back as intended) to allow space for the wires to the horn. It worked well for me. I hope this helps. -
The pictures of my steering wheel installation.
Note: I placed the NRG spacer between the wheel and horn boss, to allow room for the horn & wires.

Links to the quick release systems that I have tried...
This is the one that I used and it preforms very well:

I also ordered this, it was shorter, but I did not like it (pore quality and loose fit):

I had no trouble with the horn wires without a spacer. So the only difference is the hub adapter.
Do you have trouble with the lever?
And where did you get the steering wheel? I have the same one in yellow from China but the qualitiy isn't that good. Seems to bend quite easy when I was trying to get that assault adapter off.

The hub adaptor and wheel both came from SlingMods.
- Polaris Slingshot Steering Wheels and Accessories -I find the items work well, but as you say, it does take the indicator stalk any from the wheel. I have found that, I am now comsftable with this and after rideing/driving this way for a few months, it feels natural.

Just finished installing the Tricled dual (DRL & turnsignal) eyebrows and spoilerbladez. Took me all day
Since I wanted to be able to shut it all off I put some switches between things.
Now I can turn of the headlights and/or the DRL and choose whatever needs to be lit.
And even if everything is off I can still use the high beams to flash. That is why I didn't want to use the special available module to swithc headlights on/off. With that module you are unable to use high beams when the switch is off.And added some demon RGB lights.
I also found some connectors that I don't know what they are for. In the middle there were 4 connector. Guessing that is for the USA center lights but one connector was powered (low beam??) and the other wasn't. So don't know if that should be triggered with a switch or something.
Then there also was a connector on both sides of the SS almost on the spoiler. No clue what that is for.Oh yeah, and yesterday the hoses were replaced and the DDM coolant tank installed. Thought that would have been easier than it was
-
Nice!
Fitment of that tank between the engine and lip of the plastic firewall (oxymoron) is a bit of fun.

oh yeah. You can surely say a lot of holy saint were called during the install. Same goes for the hoses. Didn't do them all because some just couldn't be reached. Never been so happy it was over.

The two connectors down near the front spoiler are for Fog Lights. There is a spot in the fuse block for a fuse/relay and SlingMods offers a switch/relay kit here - Fog Light Relay Kit for the Polaris Slingshot.

It's unicorn poop...
-
It looks to be a kneepad. I know if I kneel down, my knees start hurting pretty quickly. I always try to use at least a piece of cardboard or, better yet, some sort of rolled towel or other padding for my knees to rest on.

Yes but those colors just clash with the Sling color

Lesson for all posting pics... hide the Unicorn poop.
