Thanks to @Dave@DDMWorks for two awesome sets of superchargers and @Slingrazor for his tremendous knowledge and incredible kindness in coming to install our super chargers. We ( Painter and Slingrazor did most of the work) installed not just 1 but 2 today along with some shocks and other parts. Tomorrow we will finish the coolant hose and tanks and be on the road for a test run.

Our trip to MV just got a touch faster! Great looking installs guys. Now hurry up and put it together so we can get more butt dyno numbers. Please double check all connections.

You'll have to excuse his typos. I was over at the scene of the crime this afternoon and all 3 appeared a little punch drunk after a very late night.

Welcome boosted brothers!

Are they running?

Are they running?
Yes they are!!!!
There are like two little kids. -
On one hand, I'm sorry I didn't get to see the start up, on the other, glad I didn't stick around after the quote,"we're just about to fire "em up!" I would have been waiting a while.
-
Ahhhh!!!! Congratulations!!! @Painter have you driven it yet?
Oh Yeah!!!! Unbelievable power and like a completely different beast!
-
We took them out around 5:30 for our maiden voyage. Man was the power awesome!! After about 12 miles and some serious boost we pulled into a gas station to turn around. At that point I realized I had a small leak. A hose actually got cut by the pulley ( @Dave@DDMWorks Trent will have some ideas on changes to the direction). @Slingrazor and @Painter got my belt off so I could limp home in slow mode!!!
We went to dinner, picked up some new hose and got to it up and running.
I can't thank Trent and Jim enough for all the great help!!
Feels good to be part of the boosted family!!

I would like to share an awesome situation where I was able to hang out with a couple of the forum's best and wrench on their slings.
I left out of Arkansas Thursday morning at 4:30 to make the 525 mile drive to spend some time with the 2 Jim's. The weather was great and the drive was as good as could be for interstate travel. After 10 hours of riding I arrived ready to start wrenching, and boy did we do that.
After 43 hours of work we had installed 2 DDM superchargers, a set of shocks, 2 DDM coolant tanks, 2 reroute hose kits, 2 new sets of DDM hoses, one set of brakes, and to finish it off a Madstad hood extension kit. Oh ya, I got a total of 9 hours sleep.
I then got back in the sling today and made the 525 mile trip home.
I have to give credit where it is do. The Jim's prepped for this to happen so well it felt like I was a surgeon (bracket, bracket...blower, blower...scalpel, scalpel...you know what I mean). They had prepared each sling by removing the hoods, replacing the crank pulley's, and installing the injectors and plugs.
I know I sing the praise of DDM allot, but they deserve it. Their kits are set up for installation with every part packed with all the hardware and components labeled. It is almost as if you had a Revel model with instructions in front of you. From start to finish, both the Superchargers were installed in about 9 hours of work total.
I wish I had a video of the Jim's when they climbed out of their Slings after about 12 miles of driving. They acted like little kids talking, but unable to finish a sentence.
There was a couple of drawbacks this weekend, the cut oil line and leaking anti-freeze. Both of them were silly mistakes that if we were just doing one install at a time would not have happened.
All in all, I had a great time with two family members who allowed me to be part of their desire to transform their slings into what they describe as a completely different riding experience.
@Painter, @SlingRider, please post up some finished pictures of your new rides so everyone else can see the awesomeness.
Bring on Maggie Valley, and fast....
