That doesn't sound right... 16 mins?? We have the Phantom 4 Pro and get between 26-28!
Can you use a different battery perhaps?
Maybe, I was reading about it before & thought that was a short run time. Yeah mines said to do 25+

That sounds about right! We'll have ours at Maggie Valley ~> talk to @sideslinger, she the drone pilot of this family and knows the software cold at this point (it's to robust for my simple brain)!
16 min of run time though..
@Ross iPhone clips right to it. You view from phone, iPad
Got it. That's how the machine is controlled. Does it have a camera on it that can shoot video and take stills or can you add a Garmin or GoPro? Sorry if that sounds dumb
awesome - thanks

Every thing is a trade off, and half the price of a Phantom with similar capabilities (although you can get refers etc). Do wish it had a little more than 16 mins, but it is very small so..... Would not be surprised to see a "Pro" version come out soon. Also has more limited range, so does depend on what you use it for.
Start with this....you have to constantly fly it...those of us that fly RC know what I'm taking about. If you can control one of these you're be ready for the big boys.

Without stabilizers and sensors to keep me from becoming my worst enemy ~> that drone would be scrap within seconds!
INDEED... it's for the highly skilled!
A drone for every home..Once assimilated, that's how it works with the Borg.

picked up a cheap one for that reason. I want to learn to really fly one so that when I step up to the real deal I might enjoy the freedom more.
Todays Multirotors take the fun out of flying, keeping your mind sharp and having finger muscle memory are things of the past but for the price of todays drones all the features are welcomed especially GPS HOME SAFE.
I always recommend learning how to hover ( and mastering It) at different heights.......the moment you say " let me see how high it can go ! that's the moment you lose it......practice HOVERING !
^^^^
I have had a lot of practice with Hoover, it sucks!
Some time with Eureka, Bissel, Electra Lux, Dirt Devil...
And I am fully ready to go drone, but the Roomba just isn't going to cut it.
Few drone shots.. I get higher & higher the more I learn about it....

I have one of these - pretty cool but I can't fly it worth a damn
my wife bout it for me last year for my Birthday spent a fortune $1200
Now I thing they are like $900 or less - it just sits in its case I never use it
Has about 6 hours on it
So.... You'll take $600 for it Mitch?

If I could figure out what to tell my wife I would happily convert it into mods

Mitch, don't even think about it ~> it's not worth the argument and hurt feelings...
