Hopefully they are wrong and it misses Georgetown.
Straight east of Georgetown now. The wind and rain has slacked off in the last 30 minutes
Your coonass brother is pulling for you guys in the storms path. I been thru some big ones and I wouldn’t wish one on my worst enemy. Godspeed my friends!!
Just about to take the dog for a hike and survey the damage. Lots of wind and rain last night but I don't think it will be to bad. Good thing I spent most of the weekend clearing and digging new culverts. Now I get to see if they worked
It is nasty her.
This is at the hospital where Barbie was, looks like a twister hit

Just an update
We came out unscathed - picked up about 8" of water in the pond but no trees down no damage that I can see, but I only covered about 2 miles of trails in one direction. Will check the other side of the property and my other neighbors later today. But right now I am jumping in the sling and headed out for coffee.
Not riding today!

It is confirmed it was not just a twister it was a EF2 Tornado
mytoy hope all is well with you and Barbie...
Thank you for asking, we where and are a few miles away. And Barbie is slowly doing a bit better every day and that is what matters.
I had to do some layoff at work because of the virus stuff, but we are still hanging in there, hopefully we live next weekend in the new house.
Hit 130 in Death Valley yesterday new record and might be the hottest ever recorded anywhere

Have done quite a bit of work in the past in the MSIV (Main Steam Isolation Valve) room at the nuclear plant where temperatures would reach 145° (but, of course, that’s a manmade environment). It was somewhat less than comfortable working conditions...

I was in a courtroom once I swear it was at least 150....or at least the judge made me feel that way
this heat wave we are having is expected to last the rest of the week - it is 6 am and it is already 91 degrees - - oh well at least we are getting closer to the end of summer
6:30 am, 61 degrees, 88% humidity and what a relief. We hit 91 yesterday and the AC took a dump. Tech is coming this afternoon. We should stay in the low 80s the rest of the week
Good Morning Vietnam:
“The weather out there today is hot and shitty with continued hot and shitty in the afternoon. Tomorrow a chance of continued crappy with a pissy weather front coming down from the north. Basically, it's hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut.”
STarting the best time to ride in Maine. Too bad I cannot drive for another 2 weeks due to hip replacement.
