A new type of Slingshot?

Sounds expensive if you can customize it during the build. If I read that right that is.

electric..Im all set

Would not work for the long fast trips we all make. You might be able to make one fast run across the Cherohala Skyway at speeds of 100+ mph.... Then you could spend the rest of the day in Robbinsville looking for someone to let you plug in and charge up. And it would be a slow slow charge at 110volts. Only fast charging is avaiable on 220volt..
Electric is massively more powerful than any engine. But it just has that one huge drawback of changing.

Oh great, another toy to buy thousands in accessories for........Seems interesting, love the slingshot, but the S model might be fun.

Is this Mikes new adventure?
-
Most importantly... can you boost it!
-
I would imagine the weight of the batteries will mandate auto safety features in the US

Has anyone heard anymore about how he is after his accident?

Very little info, shadowy picture and no specs. Electric in our type vehicle is very intriguing. I've got a good deal of experience in heavy modifications years back with electrics and currently own a gen2 Volt. There's no reason any longer why you can't get good range and incredible torque. The kick in the butt, especially in a lighter vehicle is amazing and the newer lithium packs are extremely reliable and long lived. There's 8 model years of Volts and a GM VP recently stated that they've never had a major pack failure with over 100,000 sold. Given how most of us use our Slings, even a hundred mile range would be very useful. Rab is right about charging on 110v but there are several apps listing charging stations. There's one in maggie valley at 3987 Soco, standard EV plug so 220 is available. Pretty much all electrics use the same exact plug (except Tesla).

So... Pretty quick... Pretty pricey...

That one charging station in Maggie Valley could get pretty crowded during much of the year. Make reservations for your charging while you make your room reservations.

Generally they have multiple spots at each..Also, there are 83 charging stations within 30 miles. If you go shopping, dining, etc, you can charge while you're out and about.
The Azkarra looks a real player, fairly close in looks to the SS but faired in a little better. The speeds, times and range all look excellent but the cost is too excessive even with the exchange rate.
