That is a great route. Make sure you enjoy 25e.
See you in MV

Agree with SlingRider, just rode the Bourbon Trail a few weeks ago. Stopped in Bardstown to see where Jesse James shot holes in the hotel wall. Cumberland Gap tunnel is also interesting. If you have time the overlook at Middlesboro, just past last red light in town and prior to going though tunnel, makes for a spectacular view (twisty road up mountain, great for SS, not motorhome/vehicle/trailer?).
Also, see you in MV.

By the way...... Are we there yet??

Hey SD_hopeful2016,
I sent you a PM. So when I ride to Indiana to meet some gaming friends.. we were just talking and I might be camping out at the Indianapolis 500!! I will probably bring the BlackDeath SS and park in the Snakepit! I am told $25 to get in and $40 a ticket..
We could possibly meet up there and then when you leave we can cruise down together to Maggie Valley...

By the way...... Are we there yet??
In the words of Papa Smurf "Not far now". I know some of you remember this.
-
@BlackDeath - got your message sent you a reply.
@Frank the Tank and @SlingRider it has been a long time since I rode those routes so it will be sort of a homecoming of sorts for me. Ride safe and see you all in MV. Tomorrow is clean the Sling day and start packing.
-
Starting to head west tomorrow. See y'all there. Might be a little slow behind the Kubota.
-
Will be heading to SSITS in a few days and thought I should have an angle watching over me....
The neat thing about visiting the Grissom Air Base Museum is that with permission you are allowed to drive onto the field and take some up close
pics of your 'ride' and these great 'Birds'. My wife has some trouble walking any distance and by being able drive out on the field she was able to enjoy
the visit. -

@EjFord. Looking forward to seeing you again buddy. Is Mrs. Ej coming on his trip?
Georgia likes to do some easy riding and enjoyed the ride to Grissom, but a week long ride she doesn't want to do. Looking forward to Maggie Valley.

Let us all have a safe trip so start with this!
My holy angel guardian, ask the Lord to bless the journey which I undertake, that it may profit the health of my soul and body; that I may reach its end; and that, returning safe and sound, I may find all at home in good health. Do thou guard, guide, and preserve us.
Amen. -
AMEN!
-
Amen brother
-
And in the background, I quietly hear the music from Patton in the background (At the 1 minute mark):
Amen indeed!
