Hoping the Badgers put Virginia Tech down easy tonight ..... last few weeks have been tough losses - although I really don't want to face Villanova in the second game either

When people ask me, what team I root for ~> Every time, I be like: "French Martini for the WIN!"
*and before you jump to any assumptions: I don't have a drinking problem, I have thirst problem!

Damn. Well the Badgers got knocked out of the sweet 16 with a 3 point OT buzzer beater - good job Florida it was a hell of a game ..... we'll see you next year

Just watching hockey tonight. Total class act just happened. The game went into over time. The winning team scored, but the goalie got hurt. Both teams stayed on the ice until the goalie on the losing team was put on a stretcher and off the ice. Yes hockey can be violent but moments like this is awesome. To show respect like this,.... wow

That's what makes hockey so great. The respect most players have for the game

well, hockey camp has begun. 2 months of this then the main season starts. He was selected to go to this. Only 6 goalies in the state made the cut. Being taught by NHL players.

@Shatneyman my son was a goalie his entire career. We spent many yrs in the arena. Being the goalies dad is a tough job. If the team loses it is the goalies fault, if they win it's the goal scorers that won it. I always told my son he is nuts to let someone shoot a puck at them at the speed some of the kids can shoot. His on coach was a ex NHL player and I remember my son telling him to shoot the puck as hard as he can, well the coach looked at me and I just shrugged, he backed up almost to the far blue line and gave it. My son took it right in the gut, he ended up on his ass sitting in the back of the net. He didn't complain or cry but his stomach was bruised for a week.
Anyways wish your son all the best and maybe we will see the name Shatney on a Habs jersey. -

As a Patriots fan, I saw nothing good about last nights game after the opening drive. The most alarming things I take from that game are 2 concerns:
1) We have lost players to injury in every game played since the start of camp.
2) They folded. They never fold. Attitude has to change, because you can't win without the right one.
(If Amendola is lost for the season from concussion, Anquon Bolden might have one season left in the tank) -

Gee Marco, I used to like you
