Where Did You Take Your Slingshot Today?

  • I bought a Pontiac Sunbird in Jacksonville in the 80s to find out from a guy that worked for me he had totaled it on I 80. I am sure the frame was bent as the A/C compressor bracket kept breaking as the pulley didn't not line up right. That car ended up with 360,000 miles on it as I drove it as my work car going on service calls all over the state 5 or 6 days a week.

BTW canegrinder you need to get a replacement for your Sling you are the only friend in this area I know that has a sling.

  • Short ride to pick up stuff for work and Maggie Valley. Dad and 11 year old son checking out the Slingshot... Took son for a ride around the parking lot---gave him a match box (red of course). Probably sold another Slingshot --- took Dad for a ride out on the street and let him drive back. Son enjoyed the ride but was excited that Dad got to drive one. Dad is son of one of the local business owners.

  • New slingshot friend stopped by (one of our slingshot friends sold their old to these guys when they bought new, growing the fam!) - to pick up a pedal maxx and @chavey2's old intake - that thing is finally getting installed and will write up a proper pay it forward post once he's got it on! Anyway, after shooting the crap he wanted to ride so made the wife get ready and we hit the road. Hit up garden of the gods, quick trip through Manitou springs, then up the pass to woodland park. Got gas and headed back home - fun short trip and besides the wind the weather was perfect!!!

Hopefully, Eat It! is just out of jealously...

Slingshot Flyer! Well, of course it's red... :REDSS:

  • Took our Slingshot on a 240 mile ride around AZ stopping at various veterans memorials with the Nation of Patriots Flag Tour, Had a great time and we had 87 motorcycles and 3 Slings. The Flag tour raises money to help veterans and goes through all 50 states (yes Hawaii and Alaska are separate, but the 48 states are contiguous. Had a blast including a police escort through Payson, AZ. At the end of the day we had dinner at the Elks Lodge in Chandler, AZ. We had great weather today, but the previous 2 days on the ride it was quite windy we were told. Love doing rides with the Elks Riders Motorcycle club. So nice to see patriots who love America and the honor they give to people who fought for freedom. As it is said "freedom is not free" as a serious price was paid.

  • Ruby is trapped!

We're having our back deck rebuilt, lumberyard delivered wood and dropped it off on the driveway, blocking in the Slingshot!

Deck should have been done by now except for the rain! 😬

And therein lies your motivation.! Build to ride!

Did you insure that pile of lumber? Armed guard?

Remember folks - this isn't a rehearsal, this is The Show!8)

  • I had no problem doing 10 to 12 hour days, as long as they were

2 more of those studs and you could probably TRADE them in for a TURBO

    Nobody gets outta here ALIVE

  • Today my Slingshot moved into the boat shed and the boat is just going to have to stick out the back of the shed. Told my son that I paid twice as much for the Slingshot as the aluminum bass boat so the sling was going in the shed.

  • Decided to do some exploring today, looking for some new Roads to set up rides for my group. Got a nice loop set up out of Port Charlotte Florida. One of the legs has some nice corners with banks on them you can take about 50+, another leg as a bunch of winding roads and a hill, yes I said a hill here in Florida... well at least that’s what the sign said😁. And the last leg some more whiny roads and a wooden bridge to my surprise.

Save that ride info so you can lead me around that loop next Jan 2022 when we come to Port Charlotte.
