Took our Slingshot 2020 R on a 154 mile loop ride around the Superstition Mountians and stopped at Saguaro Lake for lunch and the view.

Here in California we could really use more dam water - - - the damn dams that provide most of our dam water are too damn low
Colorado needs a lot more snow. That is a major issue.

Took our Slingshot on a 271 mile loop ride yesterday with the Elks Riders motorcycle club. Went through Florence, yes Miami with no beach LOL, Roosevelt Lake, and Jakes Corner. Stopped for lunch at Roosevelt Lake and stopped at Jakes Corner Bar. Had a great ride.

Was there in '93 on a 21 day motorcycle trip pulling a tome-out camper. Best trip we've had.
Going there soon on a trip to the Colorado high country.

Took a ride out to Cowtown AZ with the Elks Riders motorcycle club. Cowtown is actually Stanfield, AZ which has way more cows than people. Its a great bar to socialize and make friends. Fortunately, there are still places with cows, as the building boom in AZ is slowly and consistently edging out cows and agriculture from the state. But, I still love it here. We sill have horse properties where I reside.

Here’s the Democrat energy policy round up;
1) Your Upstairs is on fire.2) You have 15 fire extinguishers downstairs.
3) You run up and down the block begging neighbors for a fire extinguisher.
Just keeping it simple….
100% spot on

Went on a nice ride with the local motorcycle clubs as a member of the Elks Riders to honor disabled veteran Marine Corporal Yev Shenker who is getting a custom built adapted house from 'Homes For Our Troops' a national organization who works to build houses that are customized for severely injured veterans. I had never heard of this organization so it was great to see. They build the houses and then stay in touch with their veterans to make sure they are able to live as normal of lives as they possibly can. Cool in that the Sheriffs department and the fire department joined in the ceremony.

Those pics look like the background scenes on some of the Lost in Space show back in the 60's
I'm heading to the dealers today to get my 500 mile check up. 35 degrees outside and an 80 mile round trip should make me feel alive.
Awesome pics, and I'd love to see some of this!
The bottom picture looks like you bought it somewhere. You take really good pictures. Well done.

I've always liked a manual and at this point I have enough invested in mine that I'll hold onto it for a while. It's set to my liking. Still, I would be curious to try the paddle shifters. They might be fun!
Love my manual 2020 R. My cars are automatic with paddle shifters

Washing my 2020 Slingshot R before the ride.
Took the Slingshot out yesterday for a Poker Run with some of the motorcycle clubs in AZ to raise money for the Nation of Patriots, a veterans support organization for vets in need. Nice ride and a great cause to support. Made stops at American Legion Posts and Elks Lodges in Casa Grande, Florence and Apache Junction. Great riding weather, this was on Saturday, although the weather was even better on Friday. Love group riding that does not involve Fakebook. Being honest here. I don't do FB so that limits me from the Slingshot clubs that only use FB for their web presence.

Had a good weekend overnight ride with mid 70 degree weather around western AZ, Wickenburg, Bouse, Lake Havasu and Oatman. Approximately 700 miles with the Elk Riders motorcycle club. Good times. Sorry, I don't take more pictures and if I did they won't look as good as SoCal's, I am not a photographer.

Took the slingshot out today, a chamber of commerce day, 73 degrees, for a hiking trip in the eastern valley of the sun towards Superior, AZ. Fun ride and beautiful scenery. Stopped for food on the return trip.

Took the sling out for a hiking trip in the valley of the sun (although it started out cloudy, which made for some haze). Temperature was between 54 and 61 so that was awesome. Went to the T-Bone trail on the north side of South Mountain. First time there. Great views. Stopped for food at Cracker Barrel on return trip.

Took the Slingshot out for a ride down to Superior, AZ. Stopped in at Porters Bar and Grill for lunch. Nice day for riding around AZ.
-
Took our Slingshot to Boyd Thompson Arboretum to hike. Rode around Queen Valley and Gold Canyon. Stopped for lunch at Golden Stallion. Cloudy day. Temperature was mostly 63.

Looks like you guys had a GREAT time and put smiles on hundreds of kids faces. It would have been nice if you all moved to Daytona and we could all do these things together. Not too many Slingshots doing things as a group.IF you don't follow them on facebook, you are not in the loop of their plans
Same issue here in AZ the Slingshot groups are stuck on FB and I don't and won't use FB. Sad. Fortunately, we ride in motorcycle groups that are not stuck on FB.

Explored South Mountain Park today and stopped for lunch on the return trip. Nice day in AZ.

Saturday morning to Sunday evening Corona to Ojai to Pismo to Big Sur back to spend the night in San Simeon then home through Moro Bay and the Santa Barbara mountains. 789 miles! Perfect riding weather from high 50s to low 80s.
I hope you did not have to stop for gas in Big Sur. Yikes!

Road runner that coyote is after you. When will he learn that he can never chase you down. That coyote is really a crazy clown! Hah!
