Hideous?
Useless?
Just down right ugly?

That 'wing' looks like one of the real early ones. There were several guys making a few that really didnot catch on. There are still a few being made. Check out a couple of the vendors who have 'ads' on this site.

To me it just looks like some sort of universal application. It looks like they just bolted it to that plastic, I personally would not do that. There are other wings out there that securely attach to the roll hoops or the sub frame underneath. NRG, Twist Dynamics, and Tricline all make them. All can be found at all things slingshot or sling mods. I'm sure with a little googling you may even be able to find them elsewhere or something that will work for you. Or if you've got some fabrication skills, find something you like and make it work.

Here is what you want if you are going to keep one on slingshot....attached to roll bars
I ended up selling it for my new body design just would not look right with one..

I purchased my wing at Slingmods.com. Looks cool but there is def a noticeabke increased drag at high speeds.
I think its the Twist Dynamics one.

Yeap, always a tradeoff, downforce vs. drag

The further you mount the spoiler...the more down force.

That is a terrible photoshop of it installed on the SUV
We had several Slingshots come through back in 2015-2016 with that wing, like EjFord mentioned, it seemed to be one that people used early on until ones made for the Slingshot showed up. On a plus side though, all the ones we had come through had metal backing plates behind the plastic to mount them to, which actually made them pretty sturdy.

not a fan of the roll cage connection because I plane to put a roll cage an pod speakers on the roll cage of my SS an also a quad exhaust I prefer that cheap Honda wing is there a diy of where I drill an re enforce the sensitive area I.e where it gets bolted an the great thing about it is it’s cheap I would never spen 900+ for a whale …. On the back lol an I know for certain it gives me 20+ horsepower an decrease blinker fluid consumption 🤓

any diy’s or just grab some tough gauge sheet metal cut a square drill some holes an bolt an nut it in I don’t want to be doing 80 an all I see or hear is the wing ripped off on the freeway
-
Due to the spacing of the Aluminum rear frame, to mount a generic Wing like the one shown above, it is absolutely necessary to remove the rear deck and install some sturdy metal to support the Wing. It may also be necessary to cut an opening thru the rear deck to prevent vibrations causing in possible tears of the plastic deck..
-
whatever you decide to do. Do not pay more than $200 for any of these wings. I was stupid enough to pay the $800 they were asking for the TD one. It's really not worth anywhere near that ballpark. Buy a generic one on ebay and fabricate spmething yourself or have a body shop come up with something and it will probably still be less than $400 that route.

The ones that came in here had essentially angle extrusion that was bolted to the aluminum subframe under the rear deck, then the wing bolted through the rear deck plastic to the angle extrusion. You had to remove the rear deck to install the wing and also remove the plastic above the wheel to be able to bolt it all together. Major pain to install, but it was pretty solid when done.

Hmmm.... How difficult (or profitable) would it be to make a kit for that particular wing...
