I was wondering if anyone has done a diy on armrest speakers meaning cutting the hole out of the existing armrest to put speak pods in instead of buying them?

What kind of roll cage speakers are best for the sling ?

2016 is pretty much all I can afford

Ok new to the sling world and have dozens of questions looking to buy a sling currently but I also want to know what kind of double din radio to get an if there is a need for speaker upgrade or stock will be loud enough also I want to have speakers hanging off the roll cage will these work an has anyone ever used them before .

Looks good do you know where I could source the kit from ?

We had several Slingshots come through back in 2015-2016 with that wing, like EjFord mentioned, it seemed to be one that people used early on until ones made for the Slingshot showed up. On a plus side though, all the ones we had come through had metal backing plates behind the plastic to mount them to, which actually made them pretty sturdy.

not a fan of the roll cage connection because I plane to put a roll cage an pod speakers on the roll cage of my SS an also a quad exhaust I prefer that cheap Honda wing is there a diy of where I drill an re enforce the sensitive area I.e where it gets bolted an the great thing about it is it’s cheap I would never spen 900+ for a whale …. On the back lol an I know for certain it gives me 20+ horsepower an decrease blinker fluid consumption 🤓

There are other wings out there that securely attach to the roll hoops or the sub frame underneath. NRG, Twist Dynamics, and Tricline all make them. Didn’t really think of it like that even with the rest of the SS mostly open you will get a bad fog? On the windshield?

Batcycle did you sell yours back to the dealer or sold them yourself when you wanted to upgrade an did they hold value on the trade ins? if you went? to the dealer?

Kenerg i don’t want to think about a wife at this point in my life lol I have a girlfriend that lives with me an hates that I have a super Moto in the kitchen as decor for the winter months she doesn’t know about my sneaky buy just yet I’m just going to have it dropped off an I plan on buying one of those big red bows for it an act like it was a gift from the parents or something. I’m in a search for a slingshot at the moment I know I will find one soon for cheap with all the snow fall around the country lol fingers crossed. But I have have been searching for a full tint windshield that will just fit on a normal roll cage top I don’t want all the crazy stuff over my head if I get caught in the rain pull over an throw a canvas top over simple. Is there anything out there like that. I want something like the twist dynamics but also have the back blocked so I don’t have a cold neck lol.

Thanks I just paid off my car so I don’t really wanna go back down that road for a toy 5 long years of hell never again everyday I wanted to quit my job 😂😂 but couldn’t cause of the damm car note all my toys I have now we’re all cash sales an the super moto ktm 22 was a cash deal steal basically lol had zero miles right out the create but I doubt I’ll be able to find a deal like that again I honestly don’t care for a newer sling because I heard that the older ones were better an now the new engines are made by Polaris I rather have that old car engine in it I can work on a car better then w.e they have done to the newer ones

Lol thanks for the confidence booster finding the catch point with ur feet is a lil different from your fingers my biggest fear is getting one an getting caught at a red light on a hill an yeah I might save a little more cause I see they go quick I seen an orange one yesterday for 13,000 in Florida today it’s gone 😢 I will definitely be quicker just want to have one before the summer comes an people think they have a new corvette c8 price tag on them lol I’ve noticed that there value holds but nothing like the value of the t-Rex lol
