I've been thinking/dreaming about trying to put together a SuperTrapp exhaust system for my Hahn Turbo equipped Slingshot and was wondering if anyone has experimented with the SuperTrapp on either their Slingshot or other vehicle. I currently have the Hahn StreetRace exhaust (with baffles) and originally thought I'd switch to the Hahn Dual side exit exhaust, but that system appears to use an even shorter muffler than I have now. I typically ride after dark and would like a quieter system to avoid disturbing the neighbors too much and am concerned the shorter side muffler might be even louder than the StreetRace exhaust I've got.
I'm tempted to try building a side exit SuperTrapp exhaust and have it run back along the side of the body before exhausting near the swing-arm area. I think a blacked-out system would look good along the side of the Slingshot.
For those unfamiliar with the SuperTrapp system, here's a link to their website - SuperTrapp: Performance Exhuast
Anybody have any experience with a SuperTrapp?

@rabtech is the one who has the exhaust system that you need. Quieter than stock, a lot quieter than stock until it reaches about 4lbs of boost. Then it gets loud. I will eventually end up with something similar but I'm working on something different for the moment. Good luck and please keep us updated on your progress.

I played with them on motorcycles. They can mess with ecm and throw a light. I wouldn’t advise it with a turbo because of back pressure.

I've never used one, just read about 'em, but that was one of my concerns. I'd thought about contacting SuperTrapp and asking what they'd recommend that would be similar to the MagnaFlow muffler used by Hahn in hopes I'd achieve similar back pressures.

@BKL you definitely don't want that supertrapp or any other MC glass pack muffler on an NA machine let alone a turbo machine, they just can't withstand the heat.
Unless you want a truly custom( as in walk into a local race fab shop and have them make you one like the one dave made for Rabtech) your only choice is the FSX that welter is offering.

Since you brought it up have you seen all the mouse trap videos on utube? Some are very elaborate.

@Summer Breeze modified his Welter Outsider and now when I am following I can not even hear his SS running.

Does it come with an application for the Hahn turbo kit? And how much?

I've checked the WP site (Welter FSX | Welter Performance) several times over the last couple months and these are the only mounting options I've seen -

Order it and we will make it. Just been working on other stuff that we’ve had orders for.
