Yes, SOME OF YOU.........
Are modded to the gills... blinging ringing king and queens of slinging
@Shatneymans hood is a piece of perfection... @Bill Martins chromed flames.. @mytoys Old Glory... do I even have to mention @rabtech, or @V-SHOT, or @FunCycle.........etc......etc.....etc..
Beautiful machines totally rebuilt from the ground up... love to see as such, and know there was a hefty bill to pay for it. -
@Somerslee, did you post that stereo mod in
What did you do to your slingshot today?
Thats an excellent idea. And we are now looking to see what we might could add to our speakers... -
No, I posted it here.
Should I have posted it elsewhere ?Sent from my iPhone using Polaris Slingshot Info

Start your own build thread and then everything you do and pictures will be in one location.

AND..... post it in the thread "what did you do to your slingshot today",
I certainly consider it postworthy! I never thought of doing something like that, but it turned out nicely.. -
I've not gone crazy on mods. Originally I bought the Corbin bag setup (biggest regret... likely only regret I have on it so far) and then sold it for a $2000 loss and considered myself lucky to be rid of them. I'd say they were a boat anchor, but they weren't even good for that because they floated. But my changes/mods include the following....
DDMWorks CAI
Assault D Steering wheel, shifter, and boot with red stitching
Horn changed to something you can actually hear
SLR graphic vinyls
Stealth 1.0 rear fender with LED light strip
Sunshade for stereo
Custom lay down/set back licence plate
Lug nuts and other red accentsAlso have machined a few pieces for it, as I didn't like the aftermarket setup and knew I could do it better. Future possible changes include a top, springs, possible exhaust change of some type that's yet to be determined, remap of ECU, brakes, and possibly wheels and tires.

It's just easier for me to say "I haven't modified this".
Took me a while to find something.
I am a Sling-o-aholic. -

I am a Sling-o-aholic.Yep - I used to be able o say I changed everything but the paint. Now I can't even say that anymore.
There are a few OEM screws on it somewhere - I am afraid to add up all the mods - don't want to know -

WANT.

First mod completed in early January of 2015 was Fatty-for-under-$500(OG's may remember this). It was my quest to install a 305 tire on the rear. Not a big deal with all of the choices we have today but early owners had very few ready to buy mods. Since then I have kept busy with endless mods.

I haven't wanted to brag but I have a transmission close out cover. That is all. Well it's in my glove box I haven't put it in yet.

On.... not in.... defeats the purpose of having one.

Yep, gas and oil and about another 400 miles it will be time for another oil change since the Maggie trip.
