nothing "classic", but I've got a 2006 Mustang, 2010 Camaro, 2011 Challenger. Those are not daily drivers. Mom drives a 2019 AWD turbo GT Stinger and I drive my 2015 Ram. Well, I don't drive the Ram all the time,.. I have a "company car", so the Ram only has 30,000 miles

there's only 1 more I would like, and that's a 14 or newer Corvette. Yes my garage is full. I had to rearrange things just to keep my motorcycles in it. Thank God my oldest daughter took the 600 CBR to her house to drive or it would be outside.

Well I finally found something I could afford. It's a pretty obscure model, a 1963 Mercury Meteor. My buddy who made the trip to Idaho with me to buy it also has one. We probably have the only 2 in town. His is a rebuilder but mine is complete. It spent 29 years in SoCal with a 'little old lady', then 29 years in Northern Cal with Chuck. Chuck's buddy painted the car for him in '94 and he had the interior redone at that time. He cruised it around town and to local car shows running the odo up to 67k miles. When Chuck passed last year it went to his buddy Bruce who had painted it, but Bruce didn't like the reminder of his late buddy sitting around and didn't enjoy driving Chuck's car so he put it up on Ebay and I made the deal with him. Before he sold it, Bruce had all new brakes and brake system parts installed as well as a new headliner. The tires are over 15 years old and two of the baby moons fell off on Bruce's way home from the brake shop so I'll be looking for wheels then tires. I'll convert the distributor on the 260 V8 to electronic ignition ( I haven't installed or adjusted points in several hundred years), replace the generator with an alternator, install an aluminum intake and new 4 barrel carb to replace the 2 barrel, and put on new shocks. Today it goes to a buddy's tranny shop for a full service on the 2 speed tranny and the rear end. I need it on a lift to address some leakage that just doesn't fly with me.
I'm looking forward to cruising around town and will be looking for trade/upgrade opportunities. My starting point on this car is under $10k and it's a straight, rust-free California car so I feel like I can probably add some value with a little tweaking.
Thanks to everyone who offered their input here.
And I'm still looking...

1967 Corvette l88 - - - rarest of all corvettes up for auction
personally my favorite has always been the 63 split window but then again its not like I could afford that either

I had a 1967 435 coupe for 26 years, also had a 1960 Corvette with the quick steering option and the 2 x 4 barrels on the 283 with the 4 speed before the 1967. Getting rid of the 1960 to me was the biggest mistake I ever made behind marrying the whore and trying to make it work for 16 years, but I did get to fine son's out of that deal

I can understand your regrets - my first car was a 1964 Porsche 356c - - - young and dumb I traded it in because I wanted a "new" car - - - - if I had that car today it would be worth a small fortune - - - - assuming I hadnt wrecked it
-
Yes! I was kicking my aas 2 weeks after getting rid of the 1960. I would still have it today, it also had the Wonder Bar radio. I still have a trim piece end off of the door. I wonder what that would be worth today?
