I haven't been updating this for a while, because, quite frankly, there hasn't been anything to write. But, today is a good day!
No more brace!
Feels weird not having it. Lots of therapy left to go, and on a 1lb lifting restriction, but, its progress! Now it's time to get hot and have into the rehab.
I asked the doc when I can start using a shifter. He said hopefully within the next 2 months.
At least I have a time frame!
I'm really glad to be getting closer.
Just my luck....

Great news Joker. It's never too late in the season to Sling. Just be sure to pull over in a blizzard, trust me on this one.

Sending our sympathies and hopes for a quick recovery your way ...
Monday, my wife had her second right elbow surgery in 10 months ... first time was to put it all back together with bits of Titanium ... seven months PT and two different dynamic splints the first go round but too much damage, still locked up ....second was to cut part of it out so she could get it to move past 90*....started PT 24 hours after this last surgery and every day since......
Already sold our car with a manual ..hoping to get her back in the Slingshot by the holidays .... 'cause automatics suck ...

Sorry to hear it man. Hope things get better for her soon.
I agree about automatics. I had thought about just not being patient and buying a slingshot with an automatic conversion, but my wife talked me out of it. She said, " Just give it time and don't settle. You'll enjoy it that much more when it finally get here."

Well, I have an update! So, as some of you know, I was FINALLY going to pick up my new sling Saturday.
Well, Friday afternoon at work, I was standing on a pallet at work moving kegs and one of the slats broke. I thought that I just twisted my ankle. No such luck. I woke up in the middle of the night in agony. Instead of buying my sling on Saturday, I spent the day with an orthopedic surgeon discussing my options.
I tore a tendon and fractured my foot. So much for pushing a clutch for the next 6-8 weeks. -
Oh so sorry to hear that, I guess that was after beer delivery. I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry... -
That sucks - speedy recovery
