@ericastar76 I always thought that was a story people tell just so you keep your shorts on. I guess not. That was so funny.
Yeah, I got the following warning from friends about pole dancing... guess there's some truth in old fables!

That is pure evil. Poor stripper who gets those. The guy passing out those deserves to get kicked in the nuts by every dancer and patron, two or three times.

This was 52 years ago. Very sad but something to really stop and think about...
After we're gone...What the Future is going to be like for Our Grand kids...
This was 52 years ago. April 3, 1965. An amazing prediction. Do you remember the famous ABC radio commentator Paul Harvey?
Millions of Americans listened to his programs which were broadcast over 1,200 radio stations nationwide. When you listen to this, remember the
commentary was broadcast 52 years ago on April 3, 1965. It's short...less than three minutes.

Most of us here are old enough to remember the great wisdom of Paul Harvey. I used to listen to his commentary every day at lunch - always loved "the rest of the story" - great post @Tripod

Yes, sadly, Paul Harvey was one of last of the truly good guys in the news/journalism arena. We never missed his daily "The Rest of the Story" broadcasts at lunchtime.

I must to have missed that one, I use to listen every day at 4 o clock. Paul Harvey and his predictions of future jobs is the reason I went into electronics in 1966.

Truly interesting!!
As "the Devil's advocate" ~> here's the flip-side to that coin:
I suppose I caught the last few years of paul harveys stories and views. The rest of the story broadcasts were minimal but heard daily if you were in the car headed to work... he had a unique perspective and gave mostly conservative viewpoints and opinions.
