Took a deep breath, talked with Troy and have a TrakHamr on order.
now I just have to wait a month+ for it to ship.

no upgrades. I just did the black gloss with silver metallic highlights. as I'm planning on having the SS custom painted in the future. right now the SS is Black Pearl.

So will you do the self-install?
So will you do the self-install?
actually, I've talked to my local mechanic, and he's going to do it. my lower back and knees would be very unhappy with me otherwise.
for those who have the TrakHamr.
What tires / wheels did you use?
I run Lexani LX Twentys 305x30 R20 decent tires and cheap $133.00 each and Marquis M3284 rims $225.000 each

That's probably the slickest Slingshot I've ever seen!

I had put custom wheels on the sling before going quad, and just added a 4th one when I did : Wheels & Tires is my write up on them.
There are more pics of the quad install and the wheels/tires : The mighty quad
I went with the Twist Dynamics Recluse in 22" all the way around. I really wish I would had done 20" all the way around. The ride on 22" is too harsh and you can't get the performance it's capable of. The Tires would probably help. I went with the Ohtsu's that Twist offers. I think a Toyo or a stickier tire would help a lot.

good to know, I'll stick with the 20" wheels.

It will be a cheaper and better way to go. I want to sell mine so I can go to a smaller size.
Even though Troy R&D 'd me a custom sway bar (not the self install kit).
I went budget on the wheels. OEM SL all around.
Just added a 4th SL 20 to the rear.

I'm sure there's a few of us that would be interested to hear the total, all-in cost for the quad upgrade: equipment cost+shipping+install labor+4th wheel+diamond ring or trip to Costa Rica for the wife, etc.
Anyone want to share?

It's easy to calculate, the prices are posted on @kev's site for the purchase. I got in on the summer sale last year, so saved a bit of money. Wheel/Tire cost me $600 and I spent another $900 on custom exhaust work for my Welters. Since then I've added a big brake kit from Trakhamr that was another $1900, that's an optional upgrade on the Trakhamr.
I may have caught Troy on a good day, but he's having a sale right now. So TrackHamr with no upgrades is $9,750, + ~$500 for shipping. I think I'm going to reuse the tire/wheel I have (Nitto G2 555), so call it another $500 for 4th wheel/tire. and a guesstimate of $600 for the mechanic I'm using to install it.
so total should come in around $11,350.
I'm single, so no bribes / kick backs are required.

Have to say,
During my whole process with Troy.. Troy/his guys did my install and wheel alignment (mine runs straight as an arrow at 3 digits, no hands required on the steering wheel). Troy is cool as a cucumber. Seemed to never have a bad day.... Even when I would bug him with stupid questions/worries.
Good stuff is never cheap. Trackhamr is as good as it gets.
