The stock camera works excellent as long as all of your driving is indoors.
I never pull my Sling into my garage, I always back it in and if not for the camera, I'd surely back it into the freezer that's out there... 😆

That is correct
I just installed the short throw shifter from DDM, wish this would’ve been my first mod! Took it for a test ride tonight, you can bang through the gears with incredible speed. Everything feels tight and precise!
I am more of a cruiser than a racer, but with this it makes me wanna play, LOL
well worth the money!

Now put on a 320mm steering wheel and you'll think you're in a race car!

Will this work?

That's next level. Star fighter! I saw that you got all those horn buttons working but I'd really need a pair of phasers with that setup. Set on stun of course...

fresh off the 3-D printer to see if I like the shape and size, if so a little metal fabrication and Bob’s your uncle! Lol

Yeah, there not Rockford Fosgate speakers anymore, but I'm cheap and wanted to make the stock speaker location work for me. I'm leaving them split for now as I'll need to drill some holes and extend the speaker wire from the kicker speaker to run to the amp and then the 4 wire LED pwr/ctrl needs to be extended out as well. Not 100% sure how long yet as waiting on LED controller from kicker still.
The weight on these compared to the stock speakers makes the Rockford's feel like a joke. Not surprising the distortion I got on anything about 5 on the head unit. The kickers are too tall for the cover, but used some plastic weld UV light stuff that was clear to tac the stock covers on so their secure, and besides sitting higher don't look too bad! Plan is to keep that stock tweeter speaker in use and why I just clipped the main speaker, we'll see how these work.
Just wired up a new sound system in my car - came out perfect!

Hey doesn't the blue one go to the amp?
That and a few wire ties and some tape you will be all good

My wife told me to tell you she thinks the red wire appears to be twisted - - -I didn't have the heart to tell her most things about you are twisted
Looks like under the hood of the wife's old VW bug! Even though I'm doing it myself and far from professional installer, I hate wire messes. The OCD takes care of those.... I've seen some awesome looking LED lights then when the hood is popped you get an idea of who installed it and/or calls for electrical tape on the ride....
Heater hose for new turbo cooling lines showed up today too. Hoping to get that wrapped up over this next week and that the weather is a bit warmer to do it. 10 feet of this hose on Amazon was $36.75 or 25ft for $30.15 - crazy how that shit works sometimes....
My goodie arrived today. If you want a cover for the stock steering wheel, this is the one to buy. It fits like a glove, was made for the 13.5 inch wheel, excellent quality, and the bead comes in an assortment of colors (I'm partial to red). Love it!

Exactly what I was looking for! I actually purchased a standard automotive size last month. Cut it down to size and sowed the ends back. It's ok but for the price and the seamless 13.5 inch the price is worth it to repurchase. I use neoprene gloves that slide all over the place on the stock steering wheel. The cover is a must!
New one on order now. Many thanks!
Not sure where to post this but it’s about new stuff - looks like our beloved Slings may have competition....

What y’all think ??
i gotta say from an aesthetic point of view the new side LEDs looks fantastic and update the sling. However, from a night visibility point of view, very underwhelmed. There is very little illumination on the road with these new LEDs comparred to my older LED bulbs in the original projector housing. To the people thst have updated everything including the center lights how do you notice the overall headlight output? I was honestly expecting much much better from the 2020 side LEDs
Forgive me if this was covered elsewhere. I just saw this on YouTube for HID lighting. Looks like a good investment. I haven't looked at the Slingmods site? Price?
