I hang out on a reverse trike facebook group and I have seen a few similar creations made from front wheel drive cars. I guess if you want a reverse trike its probably a fairly inexpensive way to get there if you have the time and a saw

I saw this pic of a three wheeler in China that was testing a 4 wheel conversion kit

lolol. Geesh, she sure ain't purty!
-
you can see all types of reverse trikes on the reverse trikes owners and builders face book page here - reverse trikes owners & builders
some are very interesting and as builders there is a lot of knowledge much of which can be applied to our Slingshots

So is there a rule that says if you're going to go to the considerable time, effort and cost to build a trike from a car that you must use the ugliest car you can find?
-
Peter Sellers drove this Morgan in the movie " The Party" back in the 60's. I actually remember watching it.....Not my choice of color but boy oh boy do I think the motor is cool!
-
I have always loved the retro look of the morgans, both the three wheeled and the plus 4 and plus 8. - - very cool vehicles

No, but if you are building an experimental trike from a front wheel drive vehicle...
Do you want a $60,000 fail.
That pretty much sets the bar to ugly.

Last summer, Miss N and I rode up the Dragon and encountered this vehicle. Homemade. It was his second or third reverse trike. Handled very well to boot.
