I have the same remote that @MACAWS - we're like brothers from different mothers - i have mine wrapped around the shifter to easily access .... or I flip the trigger on the camera to record

I have actually moved it up a notch my new Garmin GPS has an app to operate the Camera so I have started to use that instead of the remote.
But you are still my brother @Rossbut still rollin with a flip phone?

but still rollin with a flip phone?
is there any other way?
Honestly I watch my wife with her phone and that damn smart thing is always making noises with some message or another. I enjoy my peace and quite.

It is the Zumo I think the 590 don't remember. I was replacing the last one that did not survive a rains storm.
What I like best is the motorcycle option for planning routes - set to automatically pick the curviest roads. It was pricey but I use it enough to justify the cost. -

Which one did you get @Ross. I looked at getting a new one for our trip but ultimately decided to just follow you. I looked at the Zumo when Garmin told me they are the only units that Bluetooth the turn-by-turn instructions to a headset, but couldn't swallow the cost at this time.

Ross... I'm in awe!
Over the years I've amassed a plethora of cameras (from your high-end DSLRs to your run of the mill point-and-shoots) and I got to say ~> you NAILED IT! Taking pictures is so much more than just getting the angle and lighting right (which you did flawlessly), it's about telling a story. And through your len, that story is clear... you all had an adventure that many of us could only dream of having and captured the beauty of this wonderful country in ways that would make ANY travel agency rethink their marketing!
Hats off to you Hun ~> I don't WOW easily... and your pics have most certainly WOW'd me!

That's not even half the trip, so....does that mean more than the hat is coming off? Asking for a friend.

I got the DriveSmart51 but it does not play through the speakers

I am glad you are enjoying them - you are far too kind but I will be saving "I don't WOW easily... and your pics have most certainly WOW'd me!" - should make for some interesting conversations when my kids move me to a nursing home!

Kev, it's always better to shoot coke OUT your nose than into it

So, I'm apparently the last member of the posse to go back to work after the trip, and all I have to say is.... Fuck this noise. I'd rather be on the road.
End transmission.

Some of us never stopped working while you were on your trip...............so there!
