Have any of you seen this yet. Was going for a hellcat this summer but will hold out for a while. Hopefully they will have one at the Chicago auto show in a couple weeks.

3.5 inches wider than the hellcat. Street legal race slicks from factory on the rear.

How is that even possible? Thought that was a contradiction in terms.

Tires are nittos with demon badging on the sides. From what I've been reading. It's 200 pounds lighter than hellcat. Same horse power. It's set up for drag racing where hellcat's set up for road courses. There's a video floating around of a speech vin diesel gives to his movie crew and in the back ground are 2 demons. Dodge tried to deny it at first. But then came out and said yep those are it. The hood is different. But the teaser pics from dodge are from the rear. And that thing is wide in the rear.

Ooohh... Interested.... Love the Hellcat... Can't afford it... Saw they were also doing AWD... Would love all 4 tires gripping on an AWD Hellcat... Who cares about the extra weight?
-
So far all I know is the AWD is the 6 cylinder

Dodge hasn't said it's actually street legal yet. Suggested that it is, with street legal drag radials. But it only has a driver's seat....

For those that would like a Hellcat and don't mind the Charger version. @MiM this gives you a chance to afford one, and you are giving to some decent causes.

I bought the SRT8 before the hellcat was available and then my nephew bought a Hellcat. That Hellcat will clear the colon,...just saying

I need a good cleanse

demon is rear wheel only.

Dodge did AWD in the Magnum charger. Only lasted 1 year. People were killing the AWD with the power. Those are very rare and hardly come up for sale. GT AWD is only V6.
-
If that's true about the seats definitely going for the hellcat. Got to have room for the kids and wife. My buddy bought a AWD charger V6 last summer likes it. Put on a supercharger and some other goodies. Will never be a V8 I remind him all the time . He said when he hammers it the computer controlled AWD kinda looses it mind and kicks in and out and kinda makes the car squirrely as hell.

@chad warren I recommend going to Allpar.com
On the forum side there is a complete thread with sources far better than you will get on other blogs and media outlets. Real insiders are on that site. I even contributed a tad regarding the weight reduction and the delete option that will be available.
Go to "Mopar news and rumors"
" Dodge Demond to get hints for two months"

Looks like stock you will only have one seat but have the option to get the passenger seat and the seats in the back lol..

my first car in 1975 was a 1971 Dodge Demon (purple). Didn't have quite the HP as advertised on this new monster.

yes even down to removal of sealant in areas to reduce weight. The radio and harness can be deleted but the u-connect screen stays in place for other drive related data and input. Also the passenger side mirror can be deleted.
