Polaris Slingshot Rear Side Exit Exhaust System by 1320 Performance

This 1320 Performance Exhaust System was designed to produce Great low-end power all the way to redline while adding an intoxicating rumble tone to your SlingShot. This rear side exit exhaust includes a removable silencer so you can choose how loud or quiet you want your vehicle to be. The exhaust is constructed of high-quality 304 stainless steel, and CNC-machined flanges that accept the OEM O-ring gasket. 1320 opted to use exhaust uses a front oval piping to prevent the exhaust from hitting on any speed bumps and to increase ground clearance overall.

The Anti-Reversion chamber gets rid of unwanted exhaust gasses that travel backward through the exhaust system when exhaust gas velocity is low and scavenging is minimal. Under those conditions, exhaust gasses can enter the intake side, contaminating the combustion process. The Anti-Reversion chamber keeps exhaust flow moving in the right direction resulting in a broader power band and more torque. The exhaust system utilizes factory spring mounting brackets to keep the exhaust in an OEM fitment with no modification required. The exhaust works with both the OEM slingshot manifold and the 1320 Performance Header.

  • The only problem I see is that it is run under the frame. So ground clearance could be an issue on lowered Slingshots. Slingshots with air suspension would lay on the exhaust....yikes! If they ran it through the frame and then had a tip that angled out left before the rear tire I would purchase it yesterday.

Concur. Looks good, fair price, but I won't compromise my ground clearance with anything that I'll be upset if it gets damaged.

  • :00000004: Damn can't get any reviews! Doesn't anyone have a rear exit 1320 exhaust?

I think people have shied away from it since it runs under the frame, further reducing our already minimal ground clearance...

  • Copy that! That doesn't seem to be much of a problem because my exhaust was the first after market out. It was called the Codeman after his avatar. I tried to do something about the fumes. Finally ran it from front to back with a 2 1/2" oval. I have heard it scrap, however, hasn't really harmed anything.
Just need to post at the right time so someone reads that has it.
