Well I was going to car show this weekend to try sell my 1940 ford truck, but don't think many people will be out in rain, so just gonna stay home.
-
@Rob the Slob and @Bill Martin. Looks like you need to get your life rafts ready and install the pontoons on your Slings. Plenty of rain headed your way. Looks like you will finally get some cooler temps, but the rain is expected to last into next week. Stay safe and we all know that the flooding will bring out the snakes and gators. You are welcome to come to Virginia and stay at my house if you want to get out of town. We are expecting great riding weather this weekend here. Temps in high 70's and severe clear skies.

I appreciate that but I already evacuated to @Spudinator e house long before we knew a storm was coming and yes the damn snakes come out in floods - thanks for reminding me - I'll be ready to do battle when I get home

I did get exposed to a little South Carolina rain on Tuesday pm. Was in Summerville, SC for the day on the Slingshot and got rained on pretty good
on the ride back to the motel.
Family obligations sent be driving back to La Porte early on Wed. Left Summerville at 5:00am and got into La Porte, IN about 8:00pm....about 850 miles. Good ride --- some light sprinkles in the morning thru the Smokes. -
