Are those not the rims you are running now?
Yes. But that didn't stop me from remembering that I bought them.

You so crazy!
I bought a set of the slur rims and tires (I liked the look and the wide rear rim) in preparation for the supercharger install. I am trying to decide if I will run the Kendas or switch to nitto 555g2 tires . size for size do the aftermarket (nitto) provide that much more grip on the rear?
I currently have the Nitto 555s, but I just pulled the trigger on the G2s. I really liked the triple 5s, but reviews indicate the the G2s are even better. We shall see...
Would you pull off brand new kendas and replace with the nittos(are they that much better?)

If you are going to be running it hard in turns ...You bet ya... I would put any tire on other than the Kenda .
Thanks @rabtech I hate to throw away brand new tires but it would be easier to drop them by the tire shop before i install them on the sling. PS may not be the correct place for suggestions but a "thank you button/tab" would be a good adition to the site, that way one could thank someone for an answer .

Ditto. The Kenda's suck. I have a 315/30/20 R888 on the rear. Awesome dry traction, but suck in the rain. Most of my driving is local and in good weather so it isn't to big a deal. Tread life is less than stellar. I got 5000 out of the first one but that is with multiple block long burnouts. I can't keep my foot out of it. I hope I get 4000 out of the next one when I get the supercharger.
I plan on getting a second rear tire, something like the G2, for road trips so I don't get caught in the rain.
I have a new version of this forum that we will be switching to soon hopefully. It has several plug in additions that everyone wants. However there are still 3 plugins that I'm waiting on before I can perform the update. They keep telling me that they are almost ready. And I keep checking on them every day.
The gallery and the store module are two of the items I'm really waiting on. Hopefully they will be done soon.
I just got off the phone orderd the nitto 555 G2 tires, anyone want some brand new kendas?

I have interest, but I imagine shipping from FL would be atrocious.

I would just replace the rear with a better tire. I have 41,000 on the stock Kendas on the front with a lot of the mountain driving. The fronts are not what slides out on you. I am going to replace the fronts for this summer. The outside of the treads on the fronts are starting to round off from the hard mountain driving
Thanks for looking out @jorgebri60! But I'm going aftermarket with wheels and tires.... Just waiting for some things to fall in place...

What are you doing with your stockers, Mr. Moochamajigger?
Sold the base wheels/tires already @KayTwo.... Waiting on a couple things and then once I get the new ones on, selling the SL wheels and tires. They are 2015s... And the rear is just about done I think...
Interested?
I shipped the base wheels to Florida and it ran $140! $40 over what I asked... But not bad. Now I know...

PM sent with explanation.
Has anyone tried getting their tires from costco, my local discount tires seems to hire their techs from the back of a truck every morning, so you can imagine how much care they put when touching your car.
They once put the jack point in the wrong place and crimped a break line, another time they broke a center wheel cap, so it is safe to say i never went a third time...
