I can't believe someone hasn't mounted a air conditioner compressor where DDM puts the supercharger.... Even if you have a turbo it looks like you can snake the charge tubing around the compressor....
I would gladly sacrifice my glovebox for a vintage air unit and just have one rounded vent on each side of the console blowing toward me and the passenger. It sucks in the summer in Alabama when its 104 degrees and your in traffic going from red light to red light....

I do most of my driving early in the morning. I'm at work by 0730 and get off at 0800 the next day. Still pretty cool, but not nice in the summer even at that time.

The existing unit is low-cost enough to support some mods and still resell for a modest price (I think) and it can be battery operated! Early adopter pricing with an AC power converter starts at $399 or $673 with a 5-hour battery!

I have a few ponies to spare to drive the compressor. That electric version would be close to "and probably over" our little alternators capacity with 6 headlights and pumped up stereo's. And it was $4000.00!
I think you have enough spare ponies to turn a higher output alternator too.
Feel like those with Welters or any rear exhaust have a big void on that right side... Something functional has to fit there! Come on forum geniuses... I know you can think of something!
