The new ones look cast also and will come complete with new bearings
.
Curious if this will be a "new" set of the same....or "new" as in different design/spec ........

Just wondering if I'll be allowed to choose a different color from stock when swingarm is replaced??
Highly doubtful, at this stage. I would venture to say all of the swing arms will be offered in a standard format. This can be reasoned as quality control from the source. Then again, I could be way off base.
Just got off the phone with my dealer. They are aware of the recalls. They said,... wait for it,..... 2weeks
^^^
Guess i'm gonna have to find someone around Daytona Beach to take mine to, It appears I hit the lotto too.
I have a swingarm replacement recall......ugh
I have swing arm, steering bolt and gas clip.
And the calls are coming in Thank you for your trust in Slingshot only.
Noel from Cycle Springs is all over it... A Great Dealer for sure
Slingshot only will be there for your recall needs of course. Making things happen
Swingarm, fuel line, and seals for brake switches, limited avail on parts not avail november ish. Ugh
I have the stat-o-seal, fuel line clip, steering shafts bolt, and swingarm. I called my dealer they started a workorder and will call when the parts are in. Hope it only takes two weeks. (Yeah, Sure ) They didn't say not to ride, so I'll just keep on keeping on.
So this is interesting. I have had mine in for warranty/recall services 3 times and asked about any open bulletins. The last time was just 4 weeks ago. I checked my VIN and it says I have 8! I had previously asked about the steering rack and was told my unit was not effected. Is it possible the dealer missed these? I know he did the headlight harness recall. Was it just not updated in the system? Going to call them this morning but wonder if they are not completing the work or ignoring the system......

Same here. I'm going to check my fuel line out, and my seals to be sure they appear to be doing the job, and ride on. I'll also look for cracks at the known break area on the swingarm. I didn't get the steering shaft bolts on my recall. I'm in the system with my deal on this, see how long it takes to get to mine. Until then, I'll be out until the weather sets in for winter.
This really sucks but it is what it is. Going to keep riding unless I hear something different. Hate I might be without it for a while as I love my new toy. Anybody have an idea on what to look for on the fuel rail ( a pic maybe )? Is the stat o seal something on the brakes? That's my biggest gripe is the soft ass brakes on these things.
12/14 build here...............Fuel line replace clip inspect and Swingarm replacement W/Nuts......
The recall sheet I printed out from the Polaris recall website list the swing arm as a replacement.
Ill post the details as an Announcement shortly. 99% of the details have been talked about here already.
Ill also condense all the threads that have the recall post into one.
Wait, What?
