Where Did You Take Your Slingshot Today?

I guess whenever you get pulled over for speeding and the LEO's ask "where's the fire" you can just point to the wrap and say DUHHH
-
Pretty soon you can say your wheels are on fire

My first year at the Maggie Valley Rally I meet (on friendly terms) one of the local officers who took mine for a ride.
-
Haven't had the Slingshot out for more than two weeks...week of wet vacation time and now my drive way is tore up...getting new black top one of these days.
-
Took mine out for a couple hours yesterday 42 degrees, Damn I LOVE heated clothing
-
Went to the Beehive in Agusta KY down route 10. Great drive and great food.
Even took the ferry back to Ohio
-
Attended the local Rolling Thunder Toy Run
-
My drive is still tore up but Harvey wanted to go out for a little ride on a 60° day in so I got to take one of his out with him. First time I have been in a short windshield Slingshot since Apr 2015. Was better than not going for a ride and still like my F4 tinted 5+.

Lunch didn't work out yesterday so met some sling friends and hit up the local Bubba's 33 today for lunch - I like their shrimp po-boy, yummm! Great day for riding, blessed with these warm days/!
-
Got a few Friends from Austin area and drove up to Ft Worth for lunch at Babes Fried Chicken. The one good photo spot has a single daily driver parked right in the middle. That's me in the middle trying to block that one car from the photo.

Saturday morning to Sunday evening Corona to Ojai to Pismo to Big Sur back to spend the night in San Simeon then home through Moro Bay and the Santa Barbara mountains. 789 miles! Perfect riding weather from high 50s to low 80s.

I hope you did not have to stop for gas in Big Sur. Yikes!

60 mile ride at 57 degrees.

Took a 60 mile ride with lunch and hiking in the valley of the sun. Nice day for a ride.

Big Sur gas was 8.10🤪. We filled up with the cheep 5$ gas😎
About 150$ round trip. Stupid!
-
Weird question so I paid for Maggie Valley via PayPal. Did anyone get a confirmation email from roadsters

What I find crazy is the lack of any consistency - I can find a station here in the valley 2 or 3 blocks from another station with both selling the exact same gas and 50 to 70 cent per gallon price difference between the 2. and on top of that it is often the station in the better location with higher traffic that has the higher prices - - - I am all for a free market, but I also must admit that sometimes it seems as if some of these stations cross the line into the realm of price gouging
