Where Did You Take Your Slingshot Today?

A couple days ago I went up to Woodland, WA to pay a contractor for a rental rehab and took the long way home. Ended up stopping at the Cedar Creek Grist Mill I had recently visited with BryanL . Nice, quiet spot with pretty scenery. Built in 1876, this is the oldest building in Washington still performing it's original function.
Spot the Slingshot?
You can see the turbine behind a column under the mill which uses the fall of water (23 feet if I remember correctly) to power the mill stones:
The flume that directs the water to the turbine in the mill:
And a short walk upstream to gather my Zen:

Yesterday was a trip to the Pacific Coast to start a complete replumb of the family cabin. It's in severe disrepair as the 50 year old partnership has become fractured through the generational change.
This is our approximately 1 mile long beach looking north to Arch Cape:
And south to Cape Falcon. You can see how it got it's name:
The humble cabin:
And the currently non-Sling-friendly driveway:

On our way west. Site of the Frank landslide.

Even a couple ferry rides along the way. By the way Hwy 6 from Vernon to Needles was an absolutely amazing ride. Plenty of turns, hills and great quality roads.
Beautiful Nakusp
-
Roger's Pass, with a couple artillery pieces in the background. I did avalanche control with these (type guns) back in the distant past.
-
And a welcome rest at the Banff Springs hotel.
-
I never made it around to the front side. What a beautiful and impressive building!

I can’t complete with you all this weekend!!! Jealous!
We did for the first time in a month ( to hot as of late) get out to San Juan Capistrano for lunch and an ice cream though! This is my totally unimpressive curb side shot. Everyone had their toys out today. Curb side shots of a few.
Reallly nice Mustang
Not really sure about this guy or what it is?🤪 -
Took the sling to work tonight, 5% chance of rain my ass!

Unfortunately for the slingshot, she has to stay home this weekend, taking her roommate to the mountains for some dirty fun!
4 days on top of Bell Mountain - life doesn't get much better that that!

I went to the dealership in my area and traded for a new 2020 GT LE Auto. I just couldn't stand it any longer. I just had to have it. Wife says she loves the green paint and it is growing on me.
