I'm LOW and SLOW but I'll be all over your "Fast" asses in the curves.
New approach for a SlingShot top...

Now that was funny.
I found it Hillaryious.

You're fired.

Come on, that was punny, no matter who you are.

production started for the first 20 tops. A-arms being made now.
Disregard the Heineken in the background... That's for after the first production run is completed -
TURBO SILVER ~> Please lord, help deliver my slingshot family from their deliusions...

@Ruptured Duck Looking good DuckMan!!
-
That is looking like a bunch of awesome @Ruptured Duck. Congrats on the kickoff of production.

well the saga continues.... Made the arms and the short side is just not short enough. Will need a new run of 20 made.... Hell it's only money. This short arm long arm has bothered the crap out if me sense day one. It's possible it's all in my SS and not the rule. Having to take a day off work and travel 1.5hrs away to a dealer that will let me remove mirrors and install my arms just to make sure. Hope I'm good and my SlingShot is not a one off stellar Polaris quality control build. Just can't fathom a 3/4" difference.

Maybe an adjustable arm or ajustable placement is in order?

That's why I am convinced it's gonna be worth the wait - I know you ain't cutting loose of it until it is perfect!!

its possible after I confirm the arm length issue. Would just need to have all my CAD reworked for the front top to A-Arm bracket.... Just don't like the overall look. Just me being picky.

If you need another test sling, we are only 2.5 hours, and I'm sure K2 would be willing to help.

I like that you are picky, but I think an adjustment at the top of the A-Arm would be the least noticeable. But after you do a little more research maybe it it not needed at all. I don't remember anyone making the other tops ever commenting on inconsistencies from the mirror mounts to the roll hoops.

I have seen tolerances with the SS from one to another off. In the area between the radiator and front spoiler support bar I have seen almost an inch difference. QC on the jigging and weld up of this frame would not seem to be exact.
You have done some great research RD, I'll purchase a top in MV if you will let me. I possibly would need 2 sets of mounts and one top. (2 slings to transfer the top between). -

Whoa there, I was offering help for measurements! Dang man, he's already got yours labeled (almost)!

I would need to see about extra components. Don't want to split up a full top. Will only have 20 to start. I'll see if it pans out at MV for you.

@Bill Martin do you want your arms powder coated or polished Stainless Steel? Also I assume chrome fasteners will be OK for you. You are getting special treatment..
