Looking for some info on the 1320 V2 performance exhaust. I have a tube bender at work and was wondering if you remove the final short pipe (exit) where the selectable baffles are on the V2, is there enough room to put a right angle and run a tube out the side through the panel and then to the rear of the SS. Kinda like lake pipes or side pipes do? From the sales pictures the bottom of the V2 seams to be higher than the stock pot belly. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I just installed same system cause my alpha side exhaust blew out. I wanted to come out the hole I have cut in inside fender. It would be too low like from factory, would hit frame rail. I am not a muffler guy but don’t think you could bend enough to come out side and going out back would make your clearance pretty low. Go have muffler place look and see what they would do then go home and try. JUST SAYIN

You might be able to cut the muffler off, then put a 90 degree bend, then weld the muffler on and then a pipe out the side of the Slingshot. Making a bend after the muffler in the 1320's stock configuration is not going to work.

Hey @Boomer or @Dave@DDMWorks, does the 1320 go out the same side exit hole as the Alpha??? Asking because I'm sure @HeRSlings Alpha will burn out at some point and she likes the side exit. Also, do you know if the 1320 muffler will work with a supercharger?
-
The 1320 exhaust exits straight down, similar to the stock exhaust. The 1320 exhaust does work well with the supercharger kit, but is a little on the louder side of the options out there.
-
@Dave@DDMWorks (or anyone) do you know of a side exit exhaust that will work with the sc and exit the same as the Alpha? Or, can the 1320 be modified?

Sounds like someone is planning my supercharger

@dangerdarrell we put a 1320 on @#Savannahstrong with the supercharger

Thanks Jim. I didn't work on that SS. Did it have a side exit like Alphas?
-
Not Jim but it shoots down I believe.
-
No it is the down exhaust with baffles.
Not sure there is enough there to but and modify. @Dave@DDMWorks would know better -

Actually it was real close @MiM. I worked with Trent on 2 1/2 Slings but didn’t work on Savannah Strong. Didn’t see how his exhaust exited. We just need to hear fro Dave.

Good post, Jeff. For looks and sound I really enjoy my Alpha side exit. I know I would want to replace it with a similar one if/when mine dies.
-
@Jeff Welter awesome post. Thanks for jumping in here. With all of the current exhaust issues that folks are having demand just might be there
-
I wanted you to do something like that for past 8 months.. I looked at you systems a bunch of times, just wanted side exit. As you know from past post, my alpha blew apart and no help from alpha. I did get a bit of discount from supplier and bought 1320 v2 , just like side exit better. So I completely lost $600 and spent another $400 to be able to ride. Waiting for your new product. Thanking you in advance. JUST SAYIN

Good market here to help out all those who have cut a hole in their side panel. If you make an exhaust that exits through the same location it will sell.
That being said, I loved my XXXXX Side Exit, but I would never go back to it after running the Welter Stealth with the SC.
Anything Jeff comes up with will be better than what took up the space before. (No pressure here ) -
Well said Trent I blew up the other brand and just had my replacement rewelded. So I’m 0-2 with my side exit.
