Been thinking about getting myself one of these for that exact reason. Good luck with the freshy.

I don't know.... you either have a bad one or a good one, no one has done more burnouts than rabtech and unless I am mistaken he only had 1 failure if that.
If burnout/donuts killed a good angle drive there would be a catastrophic amount of failures, although here in the forums we have heard of "a lot" in reality the amount is quite small vs the number of slings out there. -

MADDMOE, That looks like a new Angle Drive or someone did some serious cleaning if it's not! If new, where did you order it from? How long did delivery take? And what was the damage (price + any Shipping/Handling)?

What happened? never saw the failure on the old final drive.
I slightly hurt a final drive when I was sliding sideways at a turnoff and hit a really rough patch of asphalt. I knew I was about to do some serious damage but I couldn't do anything but squint my eyes and hope for a good outcome. .
When it hit the rough spot it made the rear hop and it grabbed.after that my final drive made a clicking noise. But I still drove it a few hundred miles and never had an issue. I will take it apart and fix whatever is broken some day.

Ok so i noticed that the bolt to add tension on the belt is on the broken angel drive but not on the new one and they want $50 for bolt # 29 ..........do i need to remove this bolt to install it in the new one or order a new bolt , hmmmmmm im wondering
-
According to the Parts Diagram, #29 is a stud and uses #30 to tighten everything in place. Makes me wonder how the H.ll it's supposed to tighten the belt?
