Appreciate the responses at least I kind of have an idea. I def understand it’s all about what someone will pay but over charging I feel brings bad karma and undercharging is like getting taken advantage of so was just looking at that sweet spot. I obviously no what I have into it but u never get that back.

Looking for ideas on what would be a reasonable price for this set up thanks in advance.

Thank you will definitely take a look over the weekend at what u mentioned. I have the o2 sensor installed in the 1320 header port before turbo and A/F sensor in the port on the ddm race exhaust after turbo. I read recently I prob should have swapped them due to heat reasons but only seen it talked about once so wasn’t sure it was a real thing or not. I will investigate and get back. Thanks again

Running a DDM Stage 1 set up having a issue now and then when racing. If I shift at a high rpm let’s say 5k+ to fast the engine will stumble and fall on its face. If I accidentally hit red line and shift forget it the engine sounds like it dropped a spark plug or two. Then comes back to life after a few seconds. Other day happened so bad I had to clutch in to idle cause I thought I blew the motor but after releasing clutch back out she was fine. I have temp, A/F and Boost gauges installed all read good readings at all times. The only thing I caught was during the bad stumble when i clutched in the A/F instead of dashing out I noticed it hung around 17 for awhile as Rpm’s dropped which didn’t alarm me much but was different. I changed the spark plugs and had just replaced battery so I did a ecu reset. The Stumble will Still happen if I go to hard. Anybody having this type of issue or have any ideas for me to try. Thought maybe the BOV needs some adjusting like the charge is not releasing between gears fast enough and overloading the intake with air but I’m not very BOV knowledgeable. Thanks for any help

The "charging ports" you are referring to, may actually be the "jump ports".

Yes, charging through the 12V receptacle is good.

The jump ports mount outside of the battery compartment wherever you might want to put them.

Makes it more convenient than taking apart the panel to gain access to the battery when it's dead.

I kind of figured most people on here probably already know about charging through the center. I just remember when I bought mine I had know idea about that until someone had mentioned it. I see a lot of knew owners lately on FB And i read lot about tender charging so I figured a refresh of info might help some people out. And yes u are correct I forgot about the jumping aspect of the battery being hidden u are def right I prob did mistake that with simple charging. Good info as well.

I see a lot of people online talk about battery’s and putting charging ports in and battery tender plugs. I’m not sure about every year but my 2018 u can just charge/tender through the center 12v port. Figured I would just put it out there incase people didn’t know about that. It’s Very convenient actually.

The pricing i don’t fully understand is it 50 bucks a day? Is it 50 bucks for all 3 days? What do I get for 50 bucks a hot dog and hamburger and a movie? Everything else just seems to be meet and greets and parking lot chilling. Unless I’m missing something Im just curious.

When I bought my 18 in 18 I went online looked up MSRP and said I’m okay paying that exact amount. 20k base model brand new. 1st dealer wouldn’t come down a grand told him I’m not paying shipping and assembly. He lost the 20k sale over 1000 dollars few hrs later I was at dealer 2 and walked out at my number obviously it wasn’t a deal but I also felt like I wasn’t robbed so it was okay with me. It’s a joke buying new just watch for the bs add on’s they try to throw in last min. Read everything and best of luck.

Well just like Dave said the parts arrived yesterday. Was able to replace oil feed unit and washer. The little minor leak is now gone 👍. Also got a new exhaust clamp and some sealant that’s on there now setting. The clamp went on a lot better then the first one pretty sure it’s on the money this time. Huge shout out to Dave and DDM for there customer service and help they have definitely earned my business from here out. Great company great people great product. Thanks

Just moved to Cape Coral in March and since I’ve been here I’ve seen 2 maybe 3 slingshots a red one. And I see a orange one a lot on burnt store rd. Other then that I hardly ever see any. Anybody ride around my area and if so is there ever any set up rides/ outings or events anything. Being from NY every Sunday theres a car bike meet there’s races Saturday nights ect ect. Here for a state with great weather seems so dead to me. Just curious if I’m missing out on something idk about. Thanks

When I worked on aircraft it was standard practice to torque V-band clamps to 1/2 torque then tap the circumference with a mallet. Torque to full torque and re tap again and apply full torque until the clamp is fully seated and the nut no longer tightens when applying required torque.

    👍 I will give it a go.

Got to actually take her out for a hour tonight. Very nice and very hard to maintain traction she just wants to dance lol. Readings are great all around thanks for the info and Sounds amazing. I do have two questions I find that I have a very little exhaust leak at the V clamp I have tried taking it off, flipping it around, making it extra tight adjusting the exhaust ect . Seems I just can’t get it right have any tricks to it. Like I said It’s very minor if there’s a trick great if not nothing I can’t live with. 2nd thing I noticed I still am getting very and I mean very little oil coming out of the oil supply to the turbo. The gold washer right between the turbo and the fitting. Tightening it down has gotten it to this point prior it was dumping oil pretty good. I’m starting to hit that concern point of how tight can I go. Not looking for that righty tighty to righty loosey feeling worst ever. Should I try to put just alittle more on it or live with it thoughts? We talking hour ride and I see oil equal to a tear drop at the fitting. Thanks Dave

Casper2286 The wife and I are planning a visit to the Port Charlotte area the latter half of Feb and hope to ride some with flipr ... hopefully we can meet and ride.

(Keep me posted)weekends are really my only free time at the moment but def see what I can do.

Thanks for advise ended up going with the gm parts direct for 94bucks now of course it’s on back order but is what it is clutch still working at the moment just got to wipe the drip till the part arrives. Smh

Get ready to empty wallet in FL, depending on where you locate. When I moved from Nashville to Orlando I paid double what I paid in TN and only moved 1 car. Bad drivers, and too many without insurance was story I was told.

Sent from my SM-G935V using Polaris Slingshot Forum mobile app

I’m in Cape Coral way south west hopefully not being in a busy area will help me. That sucks to hear though. Damn

Look forward to feedback, once you get the Slingshot out for a drive :)

Thanks again for your order and please let us know if there is anything else we can answer or help you with,

Well computer arrived a day early😊 and I was able to fire the lady up tonight. A lot louder then I thought actually sounds like she has some serious balls now. I did find two leaks one was on the water lines were the blue connects to the red (pic) tightened that up leak gone and I had a oil leak on the oil supply to the turbo that one had me nervous cause it was pretty tight already and there are crush washers on both sides figured seal was shot but after cleaning and snugging it tighter a few times doesn’t seem to be leaking anymore will def keep a eye on it. (Pic). Unfortunately it was raining on off here I did get to go up the block and hear that BOV and some power😁. I’m looking forward to the weekend were I can really test her out in the day light. Question what kind of air/fuel should I be seeing? And any idea what Max boost psi I should be seeing with the stage 1? Thanks very happy so far.

GM Parts Direct has it for $72.83 with shipping of $19.84 to my house in Spring, TX. Shipping might be a little more or less depending on your address.

Yeah that was the place I had found also for total of 90 something figured I’d ask before spending the money if there was a better price else were. Thanks for response prob order later today from here if know one else knows of any cheaper.

I’ve had allstate for yrs now they were real good to me when I crashed one of my bikes. Just started my policy back up it’s 96.00 a month for full coverage on the SS a bobber and a sportbike. So i like to think it’s 32 bucks each toy. Still using NY plates with NY insurance not sure what will change when I switch it to FL. Ny is usually overpriced on everything but FL is a year round state so who knows find out one of these days.
