I agree, and yes, it is sad that in the increasingly "liberal" court of public opinion, it's becoming less of a burden to prove your guilt and more of a burden to prove your innocence. I'm quite disturbed by recent stories about gangs of violent individuals attacking stopped vehicles and nearly destroying them in the melee that ensues. I'm not the type of person that would shoot someone for that. The car can always be repaired, but when I see how violent some of those idiots become, I can't help but to think, if one of them actually entered my vehicle, in an attempt to get to me or my wife, I believe one well-placed shot to the head would eliminate the threat and I'd sleep like a baby.
makes me very glad I live out in the desert where I do - - perhaps its the heat, but around here the crazies seem to calm down - - seriously, throughout all the BS and ANFTIFA & BLM insanity that has been happening across the country at most all we have had were a few very small peaceful rallies that even included the local police - - And so far this new anti Asian / Pacific Islander stupidity seems to be staying outside of our valley as well
I guess when people have to make the drive to get here they would rather hangout by the pool and drink
Funny side story - as many of you may know my wife is Filipino and she is a dealer in one of our local casinos - anyway she was dealing to a group at her table and one of the players asked her if she was scared or worried about someone hurting her. Before she could answer another player at the table who plays there all the time and knows my wife well looked over at the guy who asked the question and said - "are you crazy? have you ever seen a pissed off Filipina?"
The guy is right too - being married to one and knowing all of the ladies in my family - - - you don't want to piss off a Filipina - - - especially if shes got a machete
