I hope we find a Vendor who could make a device so elderly and handicapped people to get in and out of the SS at least for the passenger site.
Like get from a wheelchair to the seat and swing it into position.

fire up that 3d printer and get a prototype made, I bet one of the vendors would get it manufactured

A hinge on the side panel would be a good start. Then build a telescoping hydraulic seat base that rotates. Easy peasy.

I have a few snaps ideas, but I hope my Barbie recovers enough to get in and out. Otherwise I WILL design and make something. I said to her hey we still can travel and she said but not without your Slingshot TOY.

Hinge sounds like a reasonable idea. As far as a swing out seat, Polaris can't even put in an adjustable pass seat.

My first thought was some sort of crane system attached to the roll hoop but that wouldn't work with a top like yours. If you could design a hinge for the side panel or a way to remove and replace it then it may be possible to use 1x12 board to slide on to transfer from seat to seat. If the sling is still to low consider air ride to gain a little and if you have to you could carry three short sections of 2x6 to park on. Come on you got this....just gotta think outside the box .
And tell Barbie we said HEY and hope you get in the wind soon.

Give me a couple days. The swivel part is pretty straight forward. For a lift I would think a scissor base with worm drive would help keep the seat at stock height.

How about an engine hoist and a sling?
Sling (like a rescue sling) could just ride with you.
Obviously, this would only work with runs that start & finish at the same place, but it might make riding with your bride more practical around home base. Wouldn't cost an arm & a leg to try it either.

Well I dream of where my Barbie can come with me on trips. I can tow the SS but still going on rides together. Like the old HBO show dream on

Did you have an opportunity to meet the young man who was in a Wheelchair and driving a Slingshot. in the Poconos last summer? rolled up to the drivers side and lifted him self in --- dismantled the chair and put it in the passenger side and drove off. The man had upper body and arm strength to spare. He had it converted to a automatic.

Have a friend that had a system like that for his Pickup and the second part lifted the chair to the bed of the truck and the top of the truck bed closed to keep things dry.
