It is a very easy install and the upgraded brakes make Slingshot stopping a very postive stopping experience...

I have 109,700 on the original pads. Never been an issue with stopping even panic stops. Hate to say it, but my main reason for the upgrade is looks. I can really be shallow. Lol

Had for half a week only put 20 miles on it and now I have spent a small furtune on parts that are incoming. I should have heated my garage floor first because its going to be a long winter.

Remember Polaris is known for making 'snowmobiles' if there is NO snow on the road in Northern Indiana I'll be putting on an extra layer and have the Slingshot out for a ride.

Tomorrow here in NJ we may get 55 degrees for a hour or so and I will take a ride myself...Not many more rides before NJ puts salt down for some reason

I have never worried about the 'salt' Slingshot or Gold Wings Spring rains will wash in off. 100,000+ miles --- not show room but still looks good.

Just picked up one of these off facebook marketplace yesterday for $100. I have the propane version 60k btu but it'll kill a 20lb over a weekend working in the garage. Ran this one for 10 min last night and got garage warm, diesel isn't much cheaper but I have options now. That cement floor is cold!

Nice. I have a 70k btu pellet stove in the garage. Just waiting for my ddm presents!

I have used a 35,000 BTU propane wall hanger for years to heat my 26 X 36 playroom. Used kerosene for years but it just took too long to heat up. Now I am using the new 3 ton package unit heat pump. i have had the play room/man cave since around 1982,pretty much live in it.

While you have the lower off make sure all of the bolts are tight. I had to pull both of mine to tighten the bolts. Do not forget the hidden bolts, they were the ones that came lose.
