Will the 2018 fenders fit on a 2015 without making new holes?
The 2015 fenders are nothing but dirt traps...they always look crappy dirty.... and you can’t get it clean in those squared holes..

That looks great....I use a brush made for washing glasses to get in the holes and mine stay clean.
I always give the sling a rinse after a day of riding so I try to stay on top of it before it becomes a grungy mess!

Cleaning them with a toothbrush doesn’t answer the question..... LOL..

Nope your right...I didn't answer the original question because I dont know but I was trying to offer a cheaper solution I thought could help....my bad...but a 3.00 brush is alot cheaper than new mud flap assemblies!

What I’m thinking about is the way they are shaped on the bottom edge....I think sequencial turn signals could be installed on it easier than on mine and it eliminates the squared dirt trap bottomless holes.

All I do is wipe em out with a rag and pledge, as with the rest of the Grasshopper.............

Swiffer 360 Duster for after ride dusting works pretty good for preventing buildup on wheels, fenders, and non-painted panels.
California Duster for after ride dusting of everything else.
Used together after riding cuts way back on the number of washes.
Pretty much useless if your ride gets wet while dust covered.
Honestly, I do not believe that Bigdog is actually interested in hearing any ideas or solutions, but we will thank you !

I just explained it above....mounting sequencial turn signals would be easier...at least it might be....instead of trying to fit them into the dirt catching squared holes.....
The swept back edge looks more feasible for surface mounting lights..
If the 2018 splash guards have the same mounting bolt pattern as the 2015...at $120 each these are the cheapest mods we’ve put on yet.
And mine are literally a mess everyday...slightest bit of moisture turns them mud brown..
Don’t know if it’s road dirt or air pollution from the steel milll over the hill...
And water constantly lays in the square holes...
The new fenders hold more water than the old ones, just saying

Good info, thanks!
The SlingShot has no shortage of hard to clean spaces, my fingertips usually wind up pretty sore when I really get after it.
All part of the fun of owning a SlingShot!

@StickerDick can answer this.

Mine has taking days to clean after Maggie. I keep finding new spots mud got into. Next year I’m not parking in the grass at the fair grounds. That’s where I got super muddy at!
You can drill a drain hole in the bottom of the squares to let the water escape.

Mine don't hold any water or dirt..... oh wait you guys are talking about the parachutes/air traps not the real new fenders.
Wipe them, clean them it doesn’t matter mine always look like this. Dirt is embedded into the texture. I’ve used top coat and McGuire’s black stuff and next day they always look like this.
