Clear case of lead foot.
First time driving the Sling today, man that back end can get away from you!

Just remember, when you do want to kick the backend loose, turn off the traction control! It get's very unnerving to have the engine cut out just as the rear starts coming around and then launches in the wrong direction. I like to call it "doing the irish fireman"

What makes you think that the attention is focused on the slingshot and not the hot chick behind the wheel?
I'm 50 something.... Back to reality -

Have you never heard the word "COUGAR" before?

Have fun and burn that kenda off as soon as you can. Then get a Nitto 555 G2 for the rear. Run about 25psi in it. You will love how good it holds the road.
Also that little bit about lowering the pressure may help you with the kenda. Drop it down to 25 and see if it gives and grabs the road a little better.

I get 1500 to 2500 out of the rear.... The environment you run it in also makes a huge difference. The Cherahola Skyway is a great example of a road that will eat your tires off... On the Tennessee side the topcoat was put down with rakes and brooms. It will really chew a tire up. The NC side is a lot better and is pretty smooth.
God I wish I was there right now.....

I've got Lexani 20s wheels coming with Lexani tires. Couple more weeks.

That's good advice. When I got my sling the tires had 40 psi in them, 25 psi makes for a better ride.

Had the Sling for a few weeks now, working on some mods in the garage, but it's been too snowy to ride it.
Supposed to be 65 degrees today so I rode it to work. I'm not a led foot, but wow that back end can scoot out so easily. I checked and the traction control is on, not off. I haven't driven a stick in quite a while so I'm sure I will adjust to not get that back end slipping.
It was a little unnerving, because all the way into work people were staring as they were driving, or even taking pictures at green lights while they held traffic up for the picture. One lady even pulled over to let me go so she could show her kid as I went by.
The attention is crazy - I imagine it's going to be like that all summer long. Kinda fun, but I wish they would pay more attention to the road!
I'm bummed to find that the 2017 SLR doesn't have a navigation system - I thought Ride Command came in the 2017 models.
Just put a Supercharger or a Turbo in it so you don't have to use the gas pedal so hard

The good old days when everyone thought the factory rims were exploding. I remember it well.
