I would like a Red one Pretty please....
Did you mean a pretty red one please? PM sent.
I received my Rear Protection plate from UPS today. Awesome looking and the fit is perfection. Thanks @SlingLow, great job sir!

Thank you sir! You will find that when the plate is installed, the top edge recesses behind the lower deck panel above it by about 1/8", which will provide additional security.

I just ordered mine it is set to arrive Wednesday. I didn't think I would be comfortable with the install but it seems simple enough. Post some pics when you get it on.RNJ12

I got mine yesterday, but my wife left it at her work. So I got it in my hands today. Shipping got a little rough with mine, it was curled on one corner (lower left) like a Pringle. I was able two work it back, and the powder coat nor the clear coat cracked. I don't have it perfect yet, but close as I can until I get around to fitting it. No creases, I'm sure it will be just fine. It looks amazing, and very detailed instructions too! (disclaimer: Rare is the time I look at instructions if not in picture form)

Are you sure this wasn't a result of your wife bringing it home? I kid! I kid!
Just a quick note to let you all know that these were insured just for this reason. They are rather thin and if they have damage when they arrive just let me know and I'll ship another, then settle with the carrier. Same goes for the somewhat fragile fasteners. @Goats_Hogs don't settle for less than perfect! I have more ready to go.
Just don't use a plate to pre-drill holes if you're not going to use that plate. The holes are slightly different on each plate to position them between the diamonds.

I was going to mention, @SlingLow, ours came with a couple low-frequency, low-amplitude waves in the metal, like it had some weight sitting on it a couple times during transport. I was able to flex it back into place, and I don't think it'll be a problem at all, just wanted you to know how the shipping company is treating you.

Thanks Doug, but this one is nearly dead flat now. I can't easily pre-fit it, as I have a fender that bolts thru that panel. When the time comes, I'll transfer the holes and the fender will bolt up against the diamond plate. No way mine will come off unless I lose the whole panel it attaches to.

Affirmative.

Decided today was a good day for protecting my a$$-end, so followed @SlingLow instructions. At first glance it seemed like a lot of steps, but it really did spoon-feed the process. For my 2017 it was easier to pull off the top black trim completely as the lower piece didn't want to slide out very easily. Gloss black should be easy to keep clean, the plastic tub always looked dirty even after washing.
The directions were AWESOME especially about loosening the shock bolt, and jacking up to where the bolt wiggles free. Never would have found that sweet spot without some direction.
Pretty sweet and really dressed it up. Thanks much SlingLow.
Oh yeah, wheels are another topic over in What'dya do today thread.....

Especially if it has anything to do with drilling holes in his slingshot. He's kind of a pussy like that.
