    Red - always like your expert opinion as a retired PoPo😂. I’m watching all these politicians stating all the “reforms” they want to do to police departments nationwide. In your opinion will it make it even harder to hire quality recruits AND as a unintended consequence - cops taking cover until it’s over when shots are fired as opposed to running toward gunfire as they have in the past leading to even more deaths? If we hamstring our police departments will the years long decline in violent crime be erased?

    You're going to see a huge shortage in law enforcement. Mass retirements for those who can and new recruits resigning and starting new careers. You'll be left with whomever can't leave.

    Of course a new batch of experts will teach the new way and make a lot of money doing it.

    Law enforcement has been slowly pushed into a social worker role and away from enforcement. Unfortunately people are going to suffer before this gets sorted out.

    if the politicians ( mayors, governors, Congress, senate....) go along with the defunding and abolishing police...


    they get no armed guards, no police protection or escorts...The can have a bullet proof vest....and new running shoes.....that will be a new law....to go with defunding...


    if I can’t have police....nobody does...careful what you vote for...

    Polls had Hillary up 11 pts over Trump 6 months out...


    Polls have Biden up 14 points over Trump 6 months out...


    All is good - looks like we are on track for the 2ND biggest upset in political history!!!

    wait until Trump gets Biden in the shredder ...over his kid and Ukraine And him and China...but before that happens he might already be in gitmo....They could debate live from Cuba. Loser hangs...

    that’s assuming Biden will respond to questions from a reporter without fluff questions or without a teleprompter - that could run him back in his basement until Election Day

    Sure is funny that it's not ok for the "establishment" to stay neutral on issues, but those who object to their views feel free to trash what is not theirs to trash

    This is truly slickening. I'm afraid it will only get worse at a rapid pace. Sad when Americans have to hide their patriotism! I hear stories all the time of people in collective association neighborhoods and apartments that are being denied the opportunity to display the American Flag. Sad, it's to the point of destruction for displaying the flag.

    Dunno how we got here but we are in a time when Colin Kapernick is praised for kneeling during the national anthem vs Drew Brees shamed into an apology for his belief in honoring the flag. Never thought I would see patriotism wither on the vine like it is today!!
