@Bill Martin I understand that the Conservative pundits are beating the, "the 4 witnesses mention signed letters under penalty of law that they dispute the claims or that it never happened". The actual signed letters state, "do not recall, don't remember". Not much perjury trouble to get in there. Judge would have to admit to participating in a crime which is unlikely.

The problem here is the concept of proving you didn't do something. If it didn't happen there can be no witnesses. If it didn't happen all you can do is deny doing it. How do you find evidence of something that never happened?

Why do you think Ford says she cant remember the day, or year or any other real specifics - if she were to say exactly when and where - then Kavanaugh could potentially prove he was some other place - - - by eliminating any specifics she denies him the ability to prove innocence and guarantees it is his word against hers

how do you provide an alibi when you are not even told when you are accused of doing something?

@Bill Martin just visit me in election day, drag me to a bar, get my mind off the election and I will forget to vote. Though I did vote twice last year before election day, so you may need to visit for a month.

Air Force One came here many times in the prior administration and often came in right over my house.

okay - lets think about that

If the Dems happen to nix Kavanaugh Trump will then nominate another person off of his well published list. This will once again be a conservative leaning Justice. So now do the Democrats do the same thing to this one as they have done to Kavanaugh? If they take control of congress they can vote against this person, but then again Trump will nominate another off the same list - - unless they can stall it until after Trump is gone they will just keep getting Trumps picks and how will the public react if they refuse to send any of them to the court? They are stuck with Trump and his picks for at minimum another 2 years - - - do they really think they can push this out that far hoping that Trump is not re-elected? and if they do push it that far could it back fire and actually help Trump get re-elected?

And if in the end and they do push it out until a democrat can pick what do they think the right will do to that person

This thing has already gotten very ugly, but I suspect if Kavanaugh is not confirmed it's going to get much uglier
